1. And he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.
他在那里筑了一座坛，就给那地方起名叫伊勒伯特利（就是伯特利之神的意思），因为他逃避他哥哥的时候，神在那里向他显现。

2. And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,
染红的公羊皮，海狗皮，皂荚木，

3. So all the cities which ye shall give to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities: them shall ye give with their suburbs.
你们要给利未人的城，共有四十八座，连城带郊野都要给他们。

4. And Josiah gave to the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all for the passover offerings, for all that were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bullocks: these were of the king's substance.
约西亚从群畜中赐给在那里所有的人民，绵羊羔和山羊羔三万只，牛三千只，作逾越节的祭物。这都是出自王的产业中。

5. If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
你若是公义，还能加增他什么呢。他从你手里还接受什么呢。

6. For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul.
因他们无故的为我暗设网罗。无故的挖坑要害我的性命。

7. And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
发光的沙，（或作蜃楼）要变为水池，乾渴之地，要变为泉源。在野狗躺卧之处，必有青草，芦苇，和蒲草。

8. Neither shall ye build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days ye shall dwell in tents; that ye may live many days in the land where ye be strangers.
也不可盖房，撒种，栽种葡萄园，但一生的年日要住帐棚，使你们的日子在寄居之地得以延长。

9. Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
我必使西珥山荒凉，令人惊骇，来往经过的人我必剪除。
