1. And Laban went into Jacob's tent, and into Leah's tent, and into the two maidservants' tents; but he found them not. Then went he out of Leah's tent, and entered into Rachel's tent.
拉班进了雅各，利亚，并两个使女的帐棚，都没有搜出来，就从利亚的帐棚出来，进了拉结的帐棚。

2. And threescore and twelve thousand beeves,
牛七万二千只。

3. If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:
我若像亚当（或作别人）遮掩我的过犯，将罪孽藏在怀中。

4. But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
耶和华说，那些日子以后，我与以色列家所立的约乃是这样，我要将我的律法放在他们里面，写在他们心上。我要作他们的神，他们要作我的子民。
