1. And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen, saying, The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him.
基拉耳的牧人与以撒的牧人争竞，说，这水是我们的。以撒就给那井起名叫埃色（埃色就是相争的意思），因为他们和他相争。

2. And for the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards:
帐幕第二面，就是北面，也要作板二十块

3. And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.
你们要白白地劳力，因为你们的地不出土产，其上的树木也不结果子。

4. And the sons of Judah after their families were; of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites: of Pharez, the family of the Pharzites: of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites.
按着家族，犹大其馀的众子，属示拉的，有示拉族。属法勒斯的，有法勒斯族。属谢拉的有谢拉族。

5. Now therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth before the face of the LORD: for the king of Israel is come out to seek a flea, as when one doth hunt a partridge in the mountains.
现在求王不要使我的血流在离耶和华远的地方。以色列王出来是寻梢一个虼蚤，如同人在山上猎取一个鹧鸪一般。

6. And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.
利未子孙中有亚希雅掌管神殿的府库和圣物的府库。

7. And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.
大祭司亚撒利雅和众祭司观看，见他额上发出大麻疯，就催他出殿。他自己也急速出去，因为耶和华降灾与他。

8. Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.
火缺了柴，就必熄灭。无人传舌，争竞便止息。

9. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
我的百姓阿，你们要来进入内室，关上门，隐藏片时，等到忿怒过去。

10. And there was also a man that prophesied in the name of the LORD, Urijah the son of Shemaiah of Kirjathjearim, who prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Jeremiah:
又有一个人奉耶和华的名说预言，是基列耶琳人示玛雅的儿子乌利亚，他照耶利米的一切话说预言，攻击这城和这地。

11. When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living;
那时，我要叫你下入阴府，与古时的人一同在地的深处，久已荒凉之地居住，使你不再有居民。我也要在活人之地显荣耀（我也云云或作在活人之地不再有荣耀）。

12. Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve.
到了晚上，耶稣十二个门徒坐席。

13. But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
先在大马士革，后在耶路撒冷，和犹太全地，以及外邦，劝勉他们应当悔改归向神，行事与悔改的心相称。
