1. Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children.
求你救我脱离我哥哥以扫的手。因为我怕他来杀我，连妻子带儿女一同杀了。

2. And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
摩西便恳求耶和华他的神说，耶和华阿，你为什么向你的百姓发烈怒呢，这百姓是你用大力和大能的手从埃及地领出来的。

3. Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:
凡从埃及上来，二十岁以外的人断不得看见我对亚伯拉罕，以撒，雅各起誓应许之地，因为他们没有专心跟从我。

4. As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:
又如鹰搅动巢窝，在雏鹰以上两翅扇展，接取雏鹰，背在两翼之上。

5. Doth not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, The LORD our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
希西家对你们说耶和华我们的神必救我们脱离亚述王的手，这不是诱惑你们，使你们受饥渴而死吗。

6. Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.
你们查究所要说的话。那时我等候你们的话，侧耳听你们的辩论。

7. Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
你们义人应当靠耶和华欢喜快乐。你们心里正直的人，都当欢呼。

8. Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.
安逸的妇女阿，要战兢。无虑的女子阿，要受骚扰。脱去衣服，赤着身体，腰束麻布。

9. So I took the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed according to the law and custom, and that which was open:
我便将照例按规所立的买契，就是封缄的那一张和敞着的那一张，

10. For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.
主耶和华如此说，巴比伦王的刀必临到你。
