1. And Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him.
雅各仍旧行路，神的使者遇见他。

2. And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
百姓见摩西迟延不下山，就大家聚集到亚伦那里，对他说，起来，为我们作神像，可以在我们前面引路，因为领我们出埃及地的那个摩西，我们不知道他遭了什么事。

3. Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle;
流便子孙和迦得子孙的牲畜极其众多。他们看见雅谢地和基列地是可牧放牲畜之地，

4. Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
诸天哪，侧耳，我要说话。愿地也听我口中的言语。

5. After these things, and the establishment thereof, Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself.
这虔诚的事以后，亚述王西拿基立来侵入犹大，围困一切坚固城，想要攻破占据。

6. So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
于是这三个人，因约伯自以为义就，不再回答他。

7. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
（大卫的训诲诗）得赦免其过，遮盖其罪的，这人是有福的。

8. Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
看哪，必有一王凭公义行政。必有首领藉公平掌权。

9. The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar.
犹大王西底家第十年，就是尼布甲尼撒十八年，耶和华的话临到耶利米。

10. And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
