1. And it came to pass, when Laban heard the tidings of Jacob his sister's son, that he ran to meet him, and embraced him, and kissed him, and brought him to his house. And he told Laban all these things.
拉班听见外甥雅各的信息，就跑去迎接，抱着他，与他亲嘴，领他到自己的家。雅各将一切的情由告诉拉班。

2. Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.
我们的神阿，现在我们称谢你，赞美你荣耀之名。

3. And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul that is above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.
要把一切盖脏的脂油与肝上的网子，并两个腰子和腰子上的脂油，都烧在坛上。

4. And ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish:
又要将公牛犊十三只，公绵羊两只，一岁的公羊羔十四只，都要没有残疾的，用火献给耶和华为馨香的燔祭。

5. That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
这样，他要照他向你所应许的话，又向你列祖亚伯拉罕，以撒，雅各所起的誓，今日立你作他的子民，他作你的神。

6. And of the sons of Elizaphan; Shimri, and Jeiel: and of the sons of Asaph; Zechariah, and Mattaniah:
以利撒反的子孙申利和耶利。亚萨的子孙撒迦利雅和玛探雅。

7. The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.
将要灭亡的为我祝福。我也使寡妇心中欢乐。

8. The poor and the deceitful man meet together: the LORD lighteneth both their eyes.
贫穷人，强暴人，在世相遇，他们的眼目，都蒙耶和华光照。

9. Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
主说，因为这百姓亲近我，用嘴唇尊敬我，心却远离我。他们敬畏我，不过是领受人的吩咐。

10. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
你们寻求我，若专心寻求我，就必寻见。

11. Yet thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered:
主耶和华如此说，满了四十年，我必招聚分散在各国民中的埃及人。
