1. These men are peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters.
这些人与我们和睦，不如许他们在这地居住，作买卖。这地也宽阔，足可容下他们。我们可以娶他们的女儿为妻，也可以把我们的女儿嫁给他们。

2. Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.
你六日要作工，第七日要安息，虽在耕种收割的时候也要安息。

便雅悯支派有基斯伦的儿子以利达。

4. Go, enquire of the LORD for me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the LORD, to do after all that is written in this book.
你们去为我，为以色列和犹大剩下的人，以这书上的话求问耶和华。因我们列祖没有遵守耶和华的言语，没有照这书上所记的去行，耶和华的烈怒就倒在我们身上。

5. For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
神注目观看人的道路，看明人的脚步。

6. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
恶必害死恶人。恨恶义人的，必被定罪。

7. And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which are gone up from you.
并且我必将犹大王西底家和他的首领交在他们仇敌和寻索其命的人，与那暂离你们而去巴比伦王军队的手中。

8. Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;
因为你们用胁用肩拥挤一切瘦弱的，又用角抵触，以致使它们四散。
