1. And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master were in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor.
那仆人从他主人的骆驼里取了十匹骆驼,并带些他主人各样的财物,起身往美索不达米亚去,到了拿鹤的城。

2. And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
他们看见以色列的神,他脚下彷佛有平铺的蓝宝石,如同天色明净。

3. And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;
有一个以色列妇人的儿子,他父亲是埃及人,一日闲游在以色列人中。这以色列妇人的儿子和一个以色列人在营里争斗。

4. And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.
巴勒向巴兰生气,就拍起手来,对巴兰说,我召你来为我咒诅仇敌,不料,你这三次竟为他们祝福。

5. When thou dost lend thy brother any thing, thou shalt not go into his house to fetch his pledge.
你借给邻舍,不拘是什么,不可进他家拿他的当头。

6. But I would not hearken unto Balaam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered you out of his hand.
我不肯听巴兰的话,所以他倒为你们连连祝福。这样,我便救你们脱离巴勒的手。

7. Behold, this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee to day into mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill thee: but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD's anointed.
今日你亲眼看见在洞中,耶和华将你交在我手里。有人叫我杀你,我却爱惜你,说,我不敢伸手害我的主,因为他是耶和华的受膏者。

8. And David's heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.
大卫数点百姓以后,就心中自责,祷告耶和华说,我行这事大有罪了。耶和华阿,求你除掉仆人的罪孽,因我所行的甚是愚昧。

9. At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
那时,巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的军兵上到耶路撒冷,围困城。

10. The seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
第七是哈歌斯,第八是亚比雅,

11. And all the princes and all the people rejoiced, and brought in, and cast into the chest, until they had made an end.
众首领和百姓都欢欢喜喜地将银子送来,投入柜中,直到捐完。

12. They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;
使人赤身无衣,到处流行,且因饥饿扛抬禾捆,

13. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
荣耀的王是谁呢。万军之耶和华,他是荣耀的王。(细拉)

14. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
你在患难之日若胆怯,你的力量就微小。

15. The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.
荒凉的城拆毁了。各家关门闭户,使人都不得进去。

16. And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.
我必使刀剑,饥荒,瘟疫临到他们,直到他们从我所赐给他们和他们列祖之地灭绝。

17. Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.
添上木柴,使火着旺,将肉煮烂,把汤熬浓,使骨头烤焦。

18. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
那时,必有许多人跌倒,也要彼此陷害,彼此恨恶。

19. It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
那告诉使徒的,就是抹大拉的马利亚,和约亚拿,并雅各的母亲马利亚,还有与他们在一处的妇女。

20. Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
巡抚点头叫保罗说话,他就说,我知道你在这国里断事多年,所以我乐意为自己分诉。
