1. And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.
那女子容貌极其俊美,还是处女,也未曾有人亲近她。她下到井旁,打满了瓶,又上来。

2. And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
耶和华的荣耀停于西奈山,云彩遮盖山六天,第七天他从云中召摩西。

3. And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.
那亵渎耶和华名的,必被治死,全会众总要用石头打死他。不管是寄居的是本地人,他亵渎耶和华名的时候,必被治死。

4. He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
得听神的言语,明白至高者的意旨,看见全能者的异象,眼目睁开而仆倒的人说,

5. The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
不可因子杀父,也不可因父杀子。凡被杀的都为本身的罪。

6. And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;
百姓回答说,我们断不敢离弃耶和华去事奉别神。

7. And it came to pass, when David had made an end of speaking these words unto Saul, that Saul said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And Saul lifted up his voice, and wept.
大卫向扫罗说完这话,扫罗说,我儿大卫,这是你的声音吗。就放声大哭,

8. And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.
天使向耶路撒冷伸手要灭城的时候,耶和华后悔,就不降这灾了,吩咐灭民的天使说,够了,住手吧。那时耶和华的使者在耶布斯人亚劳拿的禾场那里。

9. And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
又将一切勇士七千人和木匠,铁匠一千人,都是能上阵的勇士,全掳到巴比伦去了。

10. The nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,
第十九是毗他希雅,第二十是以西结,

11. And they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, both toward God, and toward his house.
葬在大卫城列王的坟墓里。因为他在以色列人中行善,又事奉神,修理神的殿。

12. In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.
盗贼黑夜挖窟窿,白日躲藏,并不认识光明。

13. For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
因为义人虽七次跌倒,仍必兴起。恶人却被祸患倾倒。

14. From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.
我们听见从地极有人歌唱,说,荣耀归于义人。我却说,我消灭了,我消灭了,我有祸了。诡诈的行诡诈,诡诈的大行诡诈。

15. Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.
人子阿,我要将你眼目所喜爱的忽然取去,你却不可悲哀哭泣,也不可流泪,

16. Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
那时,在犹太的,应当逃到山上。

17. But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
只是他们的眼睛迷糊了,不认识他。

18. And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
我因此自己勉励,对神,对人,常存无亏的良心。
