1. And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels.
她就急忙把瓶里的水倒在槽里,又跑到井旁打水,就为所有的骆驼打上水来。

2. Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.
以伤还伤,以眼还眼,以牙还牙。他怎样叫人的身体有残疾,也要照样向他行。

3. And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.
巴兰观看亚玛力,就题起诗歌说,亚玛力原为诸国之首,但他终必沉沦。

4. When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
你打橄榄树,枝上剩下的,不可再打。要留给寄居的与孤儿寡妇。

5. If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.
你们若离弃耶和华去事奉外邦神,耶和华在降福之后,必转而降祸与你们,把你们灭绝。

6. And now, behold, I know well that thou shalt surely be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in thine hand.
我也知道你必要作王,以色列的国必坚立在你手里。

7. And Araunah looked, and saw the king and his servants coming on toward him: and Araunah went out, and bowed himself before the king on his face upon the ground.
亚劳拿观看,见王和他臣仆前来,就迎接出去,脸伏于地,向王下拜,

8. For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
因此耶和华的怒气在耶路撒冷和犹大发作,以致将人民从自己面前赶出。

9. And the rest of the sons of Levi were these: Of the sons of Amram; Shubael: of the sons of Shubael; Jehdeiah.
利未其馀的子孙如下,暗兰的子孙里有书巴业。书巴业的子孙里有耶希底亚。

10. And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath also forsaken you.
那时,神的灵感动祭司耶何耶大的儿子撒迦利亚,他就站在上面对民说,神如此说,你们为何干犯耶和华的诫命,以致不得亨通呢。因为你们离弃耶和华,所以他也离弃你们。

11. The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
怀他的母(原文是胎)要忘记他。虫子要吃他,觉得甘甜。他不再被人记念。不义的人必如树折断。

12. For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.
因为恶人终不得善报。恶人的灯也必熄灭。

13. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
地要东倒西歪,好像醉酒的人。又摇来摇去,好像吊床。罪过在其上沉重,必然塌陷,不能复起。

14. Then I answered them, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
我回答他们,耶和华的话临到我说,

15. But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
你们应当祈求,叫你们逃走的时候,不遇见冬天,或是安息日。

16. And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
祭司长和我们的官府,竟把他解去定了死罪,钉在十字架上。

17. Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,
既或不然,这些人,若看出我站在公会前,有妄为的地方,他们自己也可以说明。
