1. And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:
我要叫你指着耶和华天地的主起誓，不要为我儿子娶这迦南地中的女子为妻。

2. And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.
摩西下山，将耶和华的命令典章都述说与百姓听。众百姓齐声说，耶和华所吩咐的，我们都必遵行。

3. Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.
在会幕中法柜的幔子外，亚伦从晚上到早晨必在耶和华面前经理这灯。这要作你们世世代代永远的定例。

4. And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
他便题起诗歌说，比珥的儿子巴兰说，眼目闭住（闭住或作睁开）的人说，

5. And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;
后夫若恨恶她，写休书交在她手中，打发她离开夫家，或是娶她为妻的后夫死了，

6. And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac.
我将你们的祖宗亚伯拉罕从大河那边带来，领他走遍迦南全地，又使他的子孙众多，把以撒赐给他。

7. And he came to the sheepcotes by the way, where was a cave; and Saul went in to cover his feet: and David and his men remained in the sides of the cave.
到了路旁的羊圈，在那里有洞，扫罗进去大解。大卫和跟随他的人正藏在洞里的深处。

8. And Joab said unto the king, Now the LORD thy God add unto the people, how many soever they be, an hundredfold, and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it: but why doth my lord the king delight in this thing?
约押对王说，无论百姓多少，愿耶和华你的神再加增百倍，使我主我王亲眼得见。我主我王何必喜悦行这事呢。

9. Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;
这祸临到犹大人，诚然是耶和华所命的，要将他们从自己面前赶出，是因玛拿西所犯的一切罪。

10. And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.
以利亚撒的子孙撒督和以他玛的子孙亚希米勒，同着大卫将他们的族弟兄分成班次。

11. And Jehoiada took for him two wives; and he begat sons and daughters.
耶何耶大为他娶了两个妻，并且生儿养女。

12. They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge.
他们拉去孤儿的驴，强取寡妇的牛为当头。

13. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
谁能登耶和华的山。谁能站在他的圣所。

14. Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:
房屋因智慧建造，又因聪明立稳。

15. The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.
地必全然空虚，尽都荒凉。因为这话是耶和华说的。

16. Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
于是耶和华问我说，耶利米你看见什么。我说，我看见无花果，好的极好，坏的极坏，坏得不可吃。

17. And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:
要向这悖逆之家设比喻说，主耶和华如此说，将锅放在火上，放好了，就倒水在其中。

18. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
耶稣在橄榄山上坐着，门徒暗暗的来说，请告诉我们，什么时候有这些事。你降临和世界的末了，有什么豫兆呢。

19. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
他们就进去，只是不见主耶稣的身体。

20. We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
腓利斯大人，我们因你得以大享太平，并且这一国的弊病，因着你的先见，得以更正了。我们随时随地，满心感谢不尽。
