1. And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh:
亚伯拉罕对管理他全业最老的仆人说，请你把手放在我大腿底下。

2. And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.
惟独你可以亲近耶和华，他们却不可亲近，百姓也不可和你一同上来。

3. Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.
要吩咐以色列人，把那为点灯捣成的清橄榄油拿来给你，使灯常常点着。

4. And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.
巴兰举目，看见以色列人照着支派居住。神的灵就临到他身上，

5. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.
妇人离开夫家以后，可以去嫁别人。

6. And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.
约书亚对众民说，耶和华以色列的神如此说，古时你们的列祖，就是亚伯拉罕和拿鹤的父亲他拉，住在大河那边事奉别神，

7. Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and went to seek David and his men upon the rocks of the wild goats.
扫罗就从以色列人中挑选三千精兵，率领他们往野羊的磐石去，寻索大卫和跟随他的人。

8. For the king said to Joab the captain of the host, which was with him, Go now through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan even to Beersheba, and number ye the people, that I may know the number of the people.
大卫就吩咐跟随他的元帅约押说，你去走遍以色列众支派，从但直到别是巴，数点百姓，我好知道他们的数目。

9. And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servants the prophets.
耶和华使迦勒底军，亚兰军，摩押军，和亚扪人的军来攻击约雅敬，毁灭犹大，正如耶和华藉他仆人众先知所说的。

10. But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest's office.
拿答，亚比户死在他们父亲之先，没有留下儿子。故此，以利亚撒，以他玛供祭司的职分。

11. And Joash did that which was right in the sight of the LORD all the days of Jehoiada the priest.
祭司耶何耶大在世的时候，约阿施行耶和华眼中看为正的事。

12. Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.
有人挪移地界，抢夺群畜而牧养。

13. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
他把地建立在海上，安定在大水之上。

14. For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.
因为他们的心，图谋强暴。他们的口谈论奸恶。

15. And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.
那时百姓怎样，祭司也怎样。仆人怎样，主人也怎样。婢女怎样，主母也怎样。买物的怎样，卖物的也怎样。放债的怎样，借债的也怎样。取利的怎样，出利的也怎样。

16. One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.
一筐是极好的无花果，好像是初熟的。一筐是极坏的无花果，坏得不可吃。

17. Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.
人子阿，今日正是巴比伦王就近耶路撒冷的日子，你要将这日记下，

18. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
耶稣对他们说，你们不是看见这殿宇吗。我实在告诉你们，将来在这里，没有一块石头留在石头上不被拆毁的。

19. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
看见石头已经从坟墓辊开了。

20. And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
