1. And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.
话还没有说完，不料，利百加肩头上扛着水瓶出来。利百加是彼土利所生的。彼土利是亚伯拉罕兄弟拿鹤妻子密迦的儿子。

2. And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.
摩西上山，有云彩把山遮盖。

3. And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.
你要晓谕以色列人说，凡咒诅神的，必担当他的罪。

4. And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
他就题起诗歌说，比珥的儿子巴兰说，眼目闭住（闭住或作睁开）的人说，

5. At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.
要当日给他工价，不可等到日落。因为他穷苦，把心放在工价上，恐怕他因你求告耶和华，罪便归你了。

6. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
若是你们以事奉耶和华为不好，今日就可以选择所要事奉的，是你们列祖在大河那边所事奉的神呢。是你们所住这地的亚摩利人的神呢。至于我和我家，我们必定事奉耶和华。

7. The LORD therefore be judge, and judge between me and thee, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of thine hand.
愿耶和华在你我中间施行审判，断定是非，并且鉴察，为我伸冤，救我脱离你的手。

8. So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand men.
于是，耶和华降瘟疫与以色列人，自早晨到所定的时候。从但直到别是巴，民间死了七万人。

9. And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
并将约雅斤和王母，后妃，太监，与国中的大官，都从耶路撒冷掳到巴比伦去了。

10. The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,
第十七是希悉，第十八是哈辟悉，

11. But Jehoiada waxed old, and was full of days when he died; an hundred and thirty years old was he when he died.
耶何耶大年纪老迈，日子满足而死。死的时候年一百三十岁，

12. The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.
奸夫等候黄昏，说，必无眼能见我，就把脸蒙蔽。

13. Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place:
你这恶人，不要埋伏攻击义人的家。不要毁坏他安居之所。

14. Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.
因此你们要在东方荣耀耶和华，在众海岛荣耀耶和华以色列神的名。

15. Also the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
耶和华的话又临到我说，

16. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
你们看见先知但以理所说的，那行毁坏可憎的站在圣地。（读这经的人须要会意）。

17. And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
正谈论相问的时候，耶稣亲自就近他们，和他们同行。

18. And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
并且靠着神，盼望死人，无论善恶，都要复活，就是他们自己也有这个盼望。
