1. And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.
那人定睛看她，一句话也不说，要晓得耶和华赐他通达的道路没有。

2. And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
打死牲畜的，必赔上牲畜，打死人的，必被治死。

3. And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwellingplace, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock.
巴兰观看基尼人，就题起诗歌说，你的住处本是坚固。你的窝巢作在岩穴中。

4. When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
你摘葡萄园的葡萄，所剩下的，不可再摘。要留给寄居的与孤儿寡妇。

5. And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.
百姓回答约书亚说，不然，我们定要事奉耶和华。

6. Swear now therefore unto me by the LORD, that thou wilt not cut off my seed after me, and that thou wilt not destroy my name out of my father's house.
现在你要指着耶和华向我起誓，不剪除我的后裔，在我父家不灭没我的名。

7. And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people.
说，我主我王为何来到仆人这里呢。大卫说，我要买你这禾场，为耶和华筑一座坛，使民间的瘟疫止住。

8. Concerning Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, the first was Isshiah.
利哈比雅的子孙里有长子伊示雅。

9. And they conspired against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of the LORD.
众民同心谋害撒迦利亚，就照王的吩咐，在耶和华殿的院内用石头打死他。

10. He evil entreateth the barren that beareth not: and doeth not good to the widow.
他恶待（或作他吞灭）不怀孕不生养的妇人，不善待寡妇。

11. My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change:
我儿，你要敬畏耶和华与君王。不要与反覆无常的人结交。

12. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
到那日耶和华在高处必惩罚高处的众军，在地上必惩罚地上的列王，

13. Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.
你告诉以色列家，主耶和华如此说，我必使我的圣所，就是你们势力所夸耀，眼里所喜爱，心中所爱惜的被亵渎，并且你们所遗留的儿女必倒在刀下。

14. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
因为那时必有灾难，从世界的起头，直到如今，没有这样的灾难，后来也必没有。

15. But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
但我们素来所盼望要赎以色列民的就是他。不但如此，而且这事成就，现在已经三天了。

16. Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
纵然有，也不过一句话，就是我站在他们中间大声说，我今日在你们面前受审，是为死人复活的道理
