1. And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.
我向哪一个女子说，请你拿下水瓶来，给我水喝，她若说，请喝，我也给你的骆驼喝，愿那女子就作你所预定给你仆人以撒的妻。这样，我便知道你施恩给我主人了。

2. And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.
摩西对长老说，你们在这里等着，等到我们再回来，有亚伦，户珥与你们同在。凡有争讼的，都可以就近他们去。

3. Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
把那咒诅圣名的人带到营外。叫听见的人都放手在他头上，全会众就要用石头打死他。

4. And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.
现在我要回本族去。你来，我告诉你这民日后要怎样待你的民。

5. Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:
困苦穷乏的雇工，无论是你的弟兄或是在你城里寄居的，你不可欺负他。

6. Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
现在你们要敬畏耶和华，诚心实意地事奉他，将你们列祖在大河那边和在埃及所事奉的神除掉，去事奉耶和华。

7. After whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom dost thou pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea.
以色列王出来要寻梢谁呢。追赶谁呢。不过追赶一条死狗，一个虼蚤就是了。

8. And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.
大卫对迦得说，我甚为难。我愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯。我不愿落在人的手里。

9. And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
又将耶路撒冷的众民和众首领，并所有大能的勇士，共一万人，连一切木匠，铁匠都掳了去。除了国中极贫穷的人以外，没有剩下的。

10. The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
第十五是璧迦，第十六是音麦，

11. And when they had finished it, they brought the rest of the money before the king and Jehoiada, whereof were made vessels for the house of the LORD, even vessels to minister, and to offer withal, and spoons, and vessels of gold and silver. And they offered burnt offerings in the house of the LORD continually all the days of Jehoiada.
工程完了，他们就把其馀的银子拿到王与耶何耶大面前，用以制造耶和华殿供奉所用的器皿和调羹，并金银的器皿。耶何耶大在世的时候，众人常在耶和华殿里献燔祭。

12. The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.
杀人的黎明起来，杀害困苦穷乏人，夜间又作盗贼。

13. So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.
你心得了智慧，也必觉的如此。你若找着，至终必有善报。你的指望，也不至断绝。

14. They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.
这些人要高声欢呼。他们为耶和华的威严，从海那里扬起声来。

15. I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.
我耶和华说过的必定成就，必照话而行，必不返回，必不顾惜，也不后悔。人必照你的举动行为审判你。这是主耶和华说的。

16. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
这天国的福音，要传遍天下，对万民作见证，然后末期才来到。

17. And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
他们彼此谈论所遇见的这一切事。

18. But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
但有一件事，我向你承认，就是他们所称为异端的道，我正按着那道事奉我祖宗的神，又信合乎律法的，和先知书上一切所记载的。
