1. The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.
耶和华天上的主曾带领我离开父家和本族的地，对我说话，向我起誓说，我要将这地赐给你的后裔。他必差遣使者在你面前，你就可以从那里为我儿子娶一个妻子。

2. And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.
又将约书念给百姓听。他们说，耶和华所吩咐的，我们都必遵行。

3. And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
又要把净乳香放在每行饼上，作为纪念，就是作为火祭献给耶和华。

4. He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
水要从他的桶里流出。种子要撒在多水之处。他的王必超过亚甲。他的国必要振兴。

5. If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.
若遇见人拐带以色列中的一个弟兄，当奴才待他，或是卖了他，那拐带人的就必治死。这样，便将那恶从你们中间除掉。

6. And when they cried unto the LORD, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your eyes have seen what I have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness a long season.
你们列祖哀求耶和华，他就使你们和埃及人中间黑暗了，又使海水淹没埃及人。我在埃及所行的事，你们亲眼见过。你们在旷野也住了许多年日。

7. So David stayed his servants with these words, and suffered them not to rise against Saul. But Saul rose up out of the cave, and went on his way.
大卫用这话拦住跟随他的人，不容他们起来害扫罗。扫罗起来，从洞里出去行路。

8. And came to the strong hold of Tyre, and to all the cities of the Hivites, and of the Canaanites: and they went out to the south of Judah, even to Beersheba.
来到推罗的保障，并希未人和迦南人的各城，又到犹大南方的别是巴。

9. And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt.
埃及王不再从他国中出来。因为巴比伦王将埃及王所管之地，从埃及小河直到幼发拉底河都夺去了。

10. Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,
掣签的时候，第一掣出来的是耶何雅立，第二是耶大雅，

11. For the sons of Athaliah, that wicked woman, had broken up the house of God; and also all the dedicated things of the house of the LORD did they bestow upon Baalim.
因为那恶妇亚他利雅的众子曾拆毁神的殿，又用耶和华殿中分别为圣的物供奉巴力。

12. They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.
终夜赤身无衣，天气寒冷毫无遮盖，

13. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
众城门哪，你们要抬起头来。永久的门户，你们要被举起。那荣耀的王将要进来。

14. Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate.
智慧极高，非愚昧人所能及，所以在城门内，不敢开口。

15. The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.
新酒悲哀，葡萄树衰残，心中欢乐的，俱都叹息。

16. And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.
我要赐他们认识我的心，知道我是耶和华。他们要作我的子民，我要作他们的神，因为他们要一心归向我。

17. For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;
城中所流的血倒在净光的磐石上，不倒在地上，用土掩盖。

18. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
民要攻打民，国要攻打国。多处必有饥荒，地震。

19. Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
说，人子必须被交在罪人手里，钉在十字架上，第三日复活。

20. But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,
不料千夫长吕西亚前来甚是强横从我们手中把他夺去，吩咐告他的人到你这里来）。
