1. And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
先产的身体发红，浑身有毛，如同皮衣，他们就给他起名叫以扫（以扫就是有毛的意思）。

2. And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.
桌子的四围各作一掌宽的横梁，横梁上镶着金牙边。

3. If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.
你的弟兄（弟兄指本国人说下同）若渐渐穷乏，卖了几分地业，他至近的亲属就要来把弟兄所卖的赎回。

4. Let not my lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him: but I thine handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom thou didst send.
我主不要理这坏人拿八，他的性情与他的名相称。他名叫拿八（就是愚顽的意思），他为人果然愚顽。但我主所打发的仆人，婢女并没有看见。

5. But it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, came, and ten men with him, and smote Gedaliah, that he died, and the Jews and the Chaldees that were with him at Mizpah.
七月间，宗室以利沙玛的孙子，尼探雅的儿子以实玛利带着十个人来，杀了基大利和同他在米斯巴的犹大人与迦勒底人。

6. The eighteenth to Hanani, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
第十八是哈拿尼。他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。

7. And Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah lived after the death of Joash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel fifteen years.
以色列王约哈斯的儿子约阿施死后，犹大王约阿施的儿子亚玛谢又活了十五年。

8. As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
有好消息从远方来，就如拿凉水给口渴的人喝。

9. And all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes,
心利的诸王，以拦的诸王，玛列的诸王，

10. And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
我就害怕，去把你的一千银子埋藏在地里。请看，你的原银在这里。

11. But when I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death, and that he himself hath appealed to Augustus, I have determined to send him.
