1. And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abidah, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.
米甸的儿子是以法，以弗，哈诺，亚比大，和以勒大。这都是基土拉的子孙。

2. And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,
蓝色，紫色，朱红色线，细麻，山羊毛，

3. But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
第七年，地要守圣安息，就是向耶和华守的安息，不可耕种田地，也不可修理葡萄园。

4. And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.
耶和华吩咐摩西说，将百姓中所有的族长在我面前对着日头悬挂，使我向以色列人所发的怒气可以消了。

5. Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.
牛在场上踹谷的时候，不可笼住它的嘴。

6. And David heard in the wilderness that Nabal did shear his sheep.
大卫在旷野听见说拿八剪羊毛，

7. And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king's garden: (now the Chaldees were against the city round about:) and the king went the way toward the plain.
城被攻破，一切兵丁就在夜间从靠近王园两城中间的门逃跑。迦勒底人正在四围攻城，王就向亚拉巴逃走。

8. Of Heman: the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:
希幔的儿子布基雅，玛探雅，乌薛，细布业，耶利摩，哈拿尼雅，哈拿尼，以利亚他，基大利提，罗幔提以谢，约施比加沙，玛罗提，何提，玛哈秀。

9. But he slew not their children, but did as it is written in the law in the book of Moses, where the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall die for his own sin.
却没有治死他们的儿子，是照摩西律法书上耶和华所吩咐的说，不可因子杀父，也不可因父杀子，各人要为本身的罪而死。

10. How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
这样在神面前，人怎能称义。妇人所生的怎能洁净。

11. Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
耶和华阿，求你将你的道指示我，将你的路教训我。

12. Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.
除去银子的渣滓，就有银子出来，银匠能以作器皿。

13. For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
因为当强暴人催逼人的时候，如同暴风直吹墙壁，你就作贫穷人的保障，作困乏人急难中的保障，作躲暴风之处，作避炎热的阴凉。

14. And the LORD hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.
耶和华也从早起来，差遣他的仆人众先知到你们这里来（只是你们没有听从，也没有侧耳而听），

15. Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.
所以我必将你的地交给东方人为业。他们必在你的地上安营居住，吃你的果子，喝你的奶。

16. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
聪明的拿着灯，又豫备油在器皿里。

17. But Festus answered, that Paul should be kept at Caesarea, and that he himself would depart shortly thither.
非斯都却回答说，保罗押在凯撒利亚，我自己快要往那里去。
