1. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
神称旱地为地，称水的聚处为海。神看是好的。

2. Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?
求你赐我智慧聪明，我好在这民前出入。不然，谁能判断这众多的民呢。

3. Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.
来吧，我们不如用巧计待他们，恐怕他们多起来，日后若遇什么争战的事，就连合我们的仇敌攻击我们，离开这地去了。

4. And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.
人的供物若以绵羊或山羊为燔祭，就要献上没有残疾的公羊。

5. Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud: of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
约瑟子孙，属以法莲的，有亚米忽的儿子以利沙玛。属玛拿西的，有比大蓿的儿子迦玛列。

6. The LORD your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.
耶和华你们的神使你们多起来。看哪，你们今日像天上的星那样多。

7. Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,
于是，约书亚吩咐百姓的官长说，

8. And Judah went against the Canaanites that dwelt in Hebron: (now the name of Hebron before was Kirjatharba:) and they slew Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai.
犹大人去攻击住希伯仑的迦南人，杀了示筛，亚希幔，挞买。希伯仑从前名叫基列亚巴。

9. And they said unto her, Surely we will return with thee unto thy people.
说，不然，我们必与你一同回你本国去。

10. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.
哈拿心里愁苦，就痛痛哭泣，祈祷耶和华，

11. So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.
我准知他仆倒必不能活，就去将他杀死，把他头上的冠冕，臂上的镯子拿到我主这里。

12. But Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah, and the mighty men, and Solomon his brother, he called not.
惟独先知拿单和比拿雅并勇士，与他的兄弟所罗门，他都没有请。

13. And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
以利亚回答说，我若是神人，愿火从天上降下来，烧灭你和你那五十人。于是有火从天上降下来，烧灭五十夫长和他那五十人。

14. And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.
古实生宁录。他为世上英雄之首。

15. Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.
金碗三十个，银碗之次的四百一十个，别样的器皿一千件。

16. Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand.
这都是你的仆人，你的百姓，就是你用大力，和大能的手所救赎的。

17. On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the presence of Ahasuerus the king,
第七日，亚哈随鲁王饮酒，心中快乐，就吩咐在他面前侍立的七个太监，米户幔，比斯他，哈波拿，比革他，亚拔他，西达，甲迦，

18. Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
你岂不是四面圈上篱笆，围护他和他的家，并他一切所有的吗。他手所做的都蒙你赐福。他的家产也在地上增多。

19. My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
我儿，恶人若引诱你，你不可随从。

20. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
岂有一件事人能指着说，这是新的。那知，在我们以前的世代，早已有了。

21. Thy cheeks are comely with rows of jewels, thy neck with chains of gold.
你的两腮因发辫而秀美，你的颈项因珠串而华丽。

22. Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
你们这所多玛的官长阿，要听耶和华的话。你们这蛾摩拉的百姓阿，要侧耳听我们的神的训诲。

23. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
看哪，我今日立你在列邦列国之上，为要施行拔出，拆毁，毁坏，倾覆，又要建立，栽植。

24. The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation.
敌人伸手，夺取她的美物。她眼见外邦人进入她的圣所论这外邦人，你曾吩咐不可入你的会中。

25. As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
至于脸的形像，前面各有人的脸，右面各有狮子的脸，左面各有牛的脸，后面各有鹰的脸。

26. And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.
太监长对但以理说，我惧怕我主我王，他已经派定你们的饮食。倘若他见你们的面貌比你们同岁的少年人肌瘦，怎吗好呢。这样，你们就使我的头在王那里难保。

27. Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
然而，以色列的人数必如海沙，不可量，不可数。从前在什么地方对他们说，你们不是我的子民，将来在那里必对他们说，你们是永生神的儿子。

28. The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth.
田荒凉，地悲哀，因为五谷毁坏，新酒乾竭，油也缺乏。

29. But I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces thereof.
我却要降火在推罗的城内，烧灭其中的宫殿。

30. For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.
因你向兄弟雅各行强暴，羞愧必遮盖你，你也必永远断绝。

31. Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them.
他们就大大惧怕，对他说，你做的是什么事呢。他们已经知道他躲避耶和华，因为他告诉了他们。

32. Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
不要在迦特报告这事，总不要哭泣。我在伯亚弗拉辊于灰尘之中。

33. For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.
你们像丛杂的荆棘，像喝醉了的人，又如枯乾的碎秸全然烧灭。

34. And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
他们讥诮君王，笑话首领，嗤笑一切保障，筑垒攻取。

35. And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.
耶和华说，当那日，从鱼门必发出悲哀的声音，从二城发出哀号的声音，从山间发出大破裂的响声。

36. Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.
所以为你们的缘故，天就不降甘露，地也不出土产。

37. And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.
那站在番石榴树中间的人说，这是奉耶和华差遣，在遍地走来走去的。

38. Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
甚愿你们中间有一人关上殿门，免得你们徒然在我坛上烧火。万军之耶和华说，我不喜悦你们，也不从你们手中收纳供物。

39. And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
希西家生玛拿西。玛拿西生亚们。亚们生约西亚。

40. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:
他从水里一上来，就看见天裂开了，圣灵彷佛鸽子，降在他身上。

41. And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.
烧香的时后，众百姓在外面祷告。

42. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
他在世界，世界也是藉着他造的，世界却不认识他。

43. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
当他往上去，他们定睛望天的时候，忽然有两个人，身穿白衣，站在旁边，说，

44. Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
在祷告之间，常常恳求，或者照神的旨意，终能得平坦的道路往你们那里去。

45. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
弟兄们，我藉我们主耶稣基督的名，劝你们都说一样的话。你们中间也不可分党。只要一心一意彼此相合。

46. Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
他曾救我们脱离那极大的死亡，现在仍要救我们，并且我们指望他将来还要救我们。

47. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
我现在是要得人的心呢，还是要得神的心呢。我岂是讨人的喜欢吗。若仍旧讨人的喜欢，我就不是基督的仆人了。

48. That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
要照所安排的，在日期满足的时候，使天上地上一切所有的，都在基督里同归于一。

49. That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
使你们能分别是非，（或作喜爱那美好的事）作诚实无过的人，直到基督的日子。

50. That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
好叫你们行事为人对得起主，凡事蒙他喜悦，在一切善事上结果子，渐渐的多知道神。

51. And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
等候他儿子从天降临，就是他从死里复活的，那位救我们脱离将来忿怒的耶稣。

52. When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
这正是主降临要在他圣徒的身上得荣耀，又在一切信的人身上显为希奇的那日子。（我们对你们作的见证，你们也信了。）

53. For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
行淫和亲男色的，抢人口和说谎话的，并起假誓的，或是为别样敌正道的事设立的。

54. But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
但如今藉着我们救主基督耶稣的显现，才表明出来了。他已经把死废去，藉着福音，将不能坏的生命彰显出来。

55. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
因为有许多人不服约束，说虚空话，欺哄人。那奉割礼的，更是这样。

56. I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:
就是为我在捆锁中所生的儿子阿尼西母（此名就是有益处的意思）求你。

57. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
又说，主阿，你起初立了地的根基，天也是你手所造的。

58. But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
富足的降卑，也该如此。因为他必要过去，如同草上的花一样。

59. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
论到这救恩，那豫先说你们要得恩典的众先知，早已详细的寻求考察。

60. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
所以弟兄们，应当更加殷勤，使你们所蒙的恩召和拣选坚定不移。你们若行这几样，就永不失脚。

61. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
我们若说自己没有犯过罪，便是以神为说谎的。他的道也不在我们心里了。

62. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
若有人到你们那里，不是传这教训，不要接他到家里，也不要问他的安。

63. Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
所以我若去，必要题说他所行的事。就是他用恶言妄论我们。还不以此为足，他自己不接待弟兄，有人愿意接待，他也禁止，并且将接待弟兄的人赶出教会。

64. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
但这些人毁谤他们所不知道的。他们本性所知道的事与那没有灵性的畜类一样，在这事上竟败坏了自己。

65. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
