1. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
神就造出空气，将空气以下的水，空气以上的水分开了。事就这样成了。

2. In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.
当夜，神向所罗门显现，对他说，你愿我赐你什么，你可以求。

3. And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.
以色列人生养众多，并且繁茂，极其强盛，满了那地。

4. And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire:
祭司亚伦的子孙要把火放在坛上，把柴摆在火上。

5. Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
属犹大的，有亚米拿达的儿子拿顺。

6. Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.
要起行转到亚摩利人的山地和靠近这山地的各处，就是亚拉巴，山地，高原，南地，沿海一带迦南人的地，并黎巴嫩山又到伯拉大河。

7. Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
只要刚强，大大壮胆，谨守遵行我仆人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏离左右，使你无论往哪里去，都可以顺利。

8. And Adonibezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: as I have done, so God hath requited me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.
亚多尼比色说，从前有七十个王，手脚的大姆指都被我砍断，在我桌子底下拾取零碎食物。现在神按着我所行的报应我了。于是他们将亚多尼比色带到耶路撒冷，他就死在那里。

9. Wherefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return unto the land of Judah.
于是她和两个儿妇起行离开所住的地方，要回犹大地去。

10. And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.
每年上到耶和华殿的时候，以利加拿都以双分给哈拿。毗尼拿仍是激动她，以致她哭泣不吃饭。

11. And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I.
他回头看见我，就呼叫我。我说，我在这里。

12. And he conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah, and with Abiathar the priest: and they following Adonijah helped him.
亚多尼雅与洗鲁雅的儿子约押，和祭司亚比亚他商议。二人就顺从他，帮助他。

13. And he said unto them, What manner of man was he which came up to meet you, and told you these words?
王问他们说，迎着你们来告诉你们这话的，是怎样的人。

14. And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
雅完的儿子是以利沙，他施，基提，多单（多单有作罗单的）。

15. Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;
居鲁士王也将耶和华殿的器皿拿出来，这器皿是尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷掠来，放在自己神之庙中的。

16. We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses.
我们向你所行的甚是邪恶，没有遵守你藉着仆人，摩西所吩咐的诫命，律例，典章。

17. And they gave them drink in vessels of gold, (the vessels being diverse one from another,) and royal wine in abundance, according to the state of the king.
用金器皿赐酒，器皿各有不同。御酒甚多，足显王的厚意。

18. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
耶和华问撒但说，你从那里来。撒但回答说，我从地上走来走去，往返而来。

19. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
敬畏耶和华是知识的开端。愚妄人藐视智慧和训诲。

20. All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.
江河都往海里流，海却不满。江河从何处流，仍归何处。

21. Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?
我心所爱的阿，求你告诉我，你在何处牧羊，晌午在何处使羊歇卧。我何必在你同伴的羊群旁边，好像蒙着脸的人呢。

22. Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
你们的地土已经荒凉。你们的城邑被火焚毁。你们的田地，在你们的眼前为外邦人所侵吞，既被外邦人倾覆，就成为荒凉。

23. But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
耶和华对我说，你不要说我是年幼的，因为我差遣你到谁那里去，你都要去。我吩咐你说什么话，你都要说。

24. Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when her people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries saw her, and did mock at her sabbaths.
耶路撒冷在困苦窘迫之时，就追想古时一切的乐境。她百姓落在敌人手中，无人救济。敌人看见，就因她的荒凉嗤笑。

25. And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.
他们的腿是直的，脚掌好像牛犊之蹄，都灿烂如光明的铜。

26. Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.
太监长给他们起名，称但以理为伯提沙撒，称哈拿尼雅为沙得拉，称米沙利为米煞，称亚撒利雅为亚伯尼歌。

27. But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.
我却要怜悯犹大家，使他们靠耶和华他们的神得救，不使他们靠弓，刀，争战，马匹，与马兵得救。

28. He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.
它毁坏我的葡萄树，剥了我无花果树的皮，剥尽而丢弃，使枝条露白。

29. But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:
我却要降火在迦萨的城内，烧灭其中的宫殿。

30. All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him.
与你结盟的，都送你上路，直到交界。与你和好的，欺骗你，且胜过你。与你一同吃饭的，设下网罗陷害你。在你心里毫无聪明。

31. And they said every one to his fellow, Come, and let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this evil is upon us. So they cast lots, and the lot fell upon Jonah.
船上的人彼此说，来吧，我们掣签，看看这灾临到我们是因谁的缘故。于是他们掣签，掣出约拿来。

32. And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
她一切雕刻的偶像必被打碎，她所得的财物必被火烧，所有的偶像我必毁灭。因为是从妓女雇价所聚来的，后必归为妓女的雇价。

33. The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
耶和华本为善，在患难的日子为人的保障。并且认得那些投靠他的人。

34. They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves.
他威武可畏。判断和势力，都任意发出。

35. Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
你要在主耶和华面前静默无声，因为耶和华的日子快到。耶和华已经预备祭物，将他的客分别为圣。

36. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
万军之耶和华如此说，你们要省察自己的行为。

37. Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
大流士第二年十一月，就是细吧特月二十四日，耶和华的话临到易多的孙子，比利家的儿子先知撒迦利亚，说，

38. Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.
你们将污秽的食物献在我的坛上，且说，我们在何事上污秽你呢。因你们说，耶和华的桌子是可藐视的。

39. And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
所罗门生罗波安。罗波安生亚比雅。亚比雅生亚撒。

40. And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.
他传道说，有一位在我以后来的，能力比我更大，我就是弯腰给他解鞋带，也是不配的。

41. And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.
只是没有孩子，因为伊利莎白不生育，两个人又年纪老迈了。

42. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
这人来，为要作见证，就是为光作见证，叫众人因他可以信。

43. And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
耶稣对他们说，父凭着自己的权柄，所定的时候日期，不是你们可以知道的。

44. To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
我写信给你们在罗马为神所爱，奉召作圣徒的众人。愿恩惠平安，从我们的父神，并主耶稣基督，归与你们。

45. So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
以致你们在恩赐上没有一样不及人的。等候我们的主耶稣基督显现。

46. And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
我们为你们所存的盼望是确定的。因为知道你们既是同受苦楚，也必同得安慰。

47. Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
那并不是福音不过有些人搅扰你们，要把基督的福音更改了。

48. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
我们藉这爱子的血，得蒙救赎，过犯得以赦免，乃是照他丰富的恩典。

49. Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
我为你们众人有这样的意念，原是应当的。因你们常在我心里，无论我是在捆锁之中，是辩明证实福音的时候，你们都与我一同得恩。

50. As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
正如你们从我们所亲爱，一同作仆人的以巴弗所学的。他为我们（有古卷你们）作了基督忠心的执事。

51. So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.
甚至你们作了马其顿和亚该亚，所有信主之人的榜样。

52. And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
也必使你们这受患难的人，与我们同得平安。那时，主耶稣同他有能力的天使从天上在火焰中显现，

53. Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
想要作教法师，却不明白自己所讲说的，所论定的。

54. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
因为神赐给我们，不是胆怯的心，乃是刚强，仁爱，谨守的心。

55. For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
监督既是神的管家，必须无可指责，不任性，不暴躁，不因酒滋事，不打人，不贪无义之财，

56. For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.
兄弟阿，我为你的爱心，大有快乐，大得安慰。因众圣徒的心从你得了畅快。

57. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
论到使者，又说，神以风为使者，以火焰为仆役。

58. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
这样的人，不要想从主那里得什么。

59. That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
叫你们的信心既被试验，就比那被火试验，仍然能坏的金子，更显宝贵。可以在耶稣基督显现的时候，得着称赞，荣耀，尊贵。

60. And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
有了虔敬，又要加上爱弟兄的心。有了爱弟兄的心，又要加上爱众人的心

61. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
我们若在光明中行，如同神在光明中，就彼此相交，他儿子耶稣的血也洗净我们一切的罪。

62. For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
因为世上有许多迷惑人的出来，他们不认耶稣基督是成了肉身来的。这就是那迷惑人的，敌基督的。

63. Because that for his name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.
因他们是为主的名（原文作那名）出外，对于外邦人一无所取。

64. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
又如所多玛，蛾摩拉，和周围城邑的人，也照他们一味的行淫，随从逆性的情欲，就受永火的刑罚，作为监戒。

65. Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
看哪，他驾云降临。众目要看见他，连刺他的人也要看见他。地上的万族都要因他哀哭。这话是真实的。阿们。
