1. And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.
西订谷有许多石漆坑。所多玛王和蛾摩拉王逃跑，有掉在坑里的，其馀的人都往山上逃跑。

2. And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.
法老临近的时候，以色列人举目看见埃及人赶来，就甚惧怕，向耶和华哀求。

3. And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.
第八天，他要取两只没有残疾的公羊羔和一只没有残疾，一岁的母羊羔，又要把调油的细面伊法十分之三为素祭，并油一罗革，一同取来。

4. But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.
但全会众说，拿石头打死他们二人。忽然，耶和华的荣光在会幕中向以色列众人显现。

5. And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.
凡无翅无鳞的都不可吃，是与你们不洁净。

6. And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.
自从耶和华对摩西说这话的时候，耶和华照他所应许的使我存活这四十五年。其间以色列人在旷野行走。看哪，现今我八十五岁了，

7. So his father went down unto the woman: and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men to do.
他父亲下去见女子。参孙在那里设摆筵宴，因为向来少年人都有这个规矩。

8. But if they say thus, Come up unto us; then we will go up: for the LORD hath delivered them into our hand: and this shall be a sign unto us.
他们若说，你们上到我们这里来，这话就是我们的证据。我们便上去，因为耶和华将他们交在我们手里了。

9. And the king said, Whosoever saith ought unto thee, bring him to me, and he shall not touch thee any more.
王说，凡难为你的，你就带他到我这里来，他必不再搅扰你。

10. Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.
因此，我必使灾祸临到耶罗波安的家，将属耶罗波安的男丁，无论困住的，自由的都从以色列中剪除，必除尽耶罗波安的家，如人除尽粪土一般。

11. Thou hast indeed smitten Edom, and thine heart hath lifted thee up: glory of this, and tarry at home: for why shouldest thou meddle to thy hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?
你打败了以东人就心高气傲，你以此为荣耀，在家里安居就吧了，为何要惹祸，使自己和犹大国一同败亡呢。

12. And David enquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? And wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand.
大卫求问神，说，我可以上去攻打非利士人吗。你将他们交在我手里吗。耶和华说，你可以上去，我必将他们交在你手里。

13. Then Asa went out against him, and they set the battle in array in the valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.
于是亚撒出去与他迎敌，就在玛利沙的洗法谷彼此摆阵。

14. But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?
但人死亡而消灭。他气绝，竟在何处呢。

15. The heart knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy.
心中的苦楚，自己知道。心里的喜乐，外人无干。

16. All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?
他们都要发言对你说，你也变为软弱，像我们一样吗。你也成了我们的样子吗。

17. Thus saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.
耶和华对这百姓如此说，这百姓喜爱妄行（原文作飘流），不禁止脚步，所以耶和华不悦纳他们。现今要记念他们的罪孽，追讨他们的罪恶。

18. And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him;
他们必担当自己的罪孽。先知的罪孽和求问之人的罪孽都是一样，

19. All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.
全地，从迦巴直到耶路撒冷南方的临门，要变为亚拉巴。耶路撒冷必仍居高位，就是从便雅悯门到第一门之处，又到角门，并从哈楠业楼，直到王的酒榨。

20. And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.
于是打发人去，在监里斩了约翰。

21. And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.
十二门徒之中有一个加略人犹大，去见祭司长，要把耶稣交给他们。

22. But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.
你被请的时候，就去坐在末位上，好叫那请你的人来，对你说，朋友，请上坐，那时你在同席的人面前，就有了光彩了。

23. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
我在父里面，父在我里面，你不信吗。我对你们所说的话，不是凭着自己说的，乃是住在我里面的父作他自己的事。

24. Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
就大声说，你起来，两脚站直。那人就跳起来而且行走。

25. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
你这个人，为什么论断弟兄呢。又为什么轻看弟兄呢。因为我们都要站在神的台前。

26. There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.
世上的声音，或者甚多，却没有一样是无意思的。

27. The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
这人也必喝神大怒的酒，此酒斟在神忿怒的杯中纯一不杂。他要在圣天使和羔羊面前，在火与硫磺之中受痛苦。
