1. And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
耶和华晓谕摩西，亚伦说，

2. And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.
你们的儿女必在旷野飘流四十年，担当你们淫行的罪，直到你们的尸首在旷野消灭。

3. Then they told Saul, saying, Behold, the people sin against the LORD, in that they eat with the blood. And he said, Ye have transgressed: roll a great stone unto me this day.
有人告诉扫罗说，百姓吃带血的肉，得罪耶和华了。扫罗说，你们有罪了，今日要将大石头滚到我这里来。

4. So Joab came to the king, and told him: and when he had called for Absalom, he came to the king, and bowed himself on his face to the ground before the king: and the king kissed Absalom.
于是约押去见王，将这话奏告王，王便叫押沙龙来。押沙龙来见王，在王面前俯伏于地，王就与押沙龙亲嘴。

5. Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.
智慧存在聪明人心中。愚昧人心里所存的，显而易见。

6. Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
在船上的人都拜他说，你真是神的儿子了。

7. And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
于是带着彼得，雅各，约翰同去，就惊恐起来，极其难过。

8. So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
这样，你们无论什么人，若不撇下一切所有的，就不能作我的门徒。

9. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
因为神不是叫人混乱，乃是叫人安静。
