1. And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
我必赐福给她，也要使你从她得一个儿子。我要赐福给她，她也要作多国之母。必有百姓的君王从她而出。

2. And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?
于是大卫王进去，坐在耶和华面前，说，耶和华神阿，我是谁，我的家算什么，你竟使我到这地步呢。

3. Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath no heart to it?
愚昧人既无聪明，为何手拿价银买智慧呢。

4. For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.
又说，耶和华已经起了誓，必世世代代和亚玛力人争战。

5. But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.
但他若不洗衣服，也不洗身，就必担当他的罪孽。

6. But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.
只是王不可为自己加添马匹，也不可使百姓回埃及去，为要加添他的马匹，因耶和华曾吩咐你们说，不可再回那条路去。

7. And the children of Joseph said, The hill is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both they who are of Bethshean and her towns, and they who are of the valley of Jezreel.
约瑟的子孙说，那山地容不下我们，并且住平原的迦南人，就是住伯善和属伯善的镇市，并住耶斯列平原的人，都有铁车。

8. And the Philistine drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days.
那非利士人早晚都出来站着，如此四十日。

9. Now therefore send quickly, and tell David, saying, Lodge not this night in the plains of the wilderness, but speedily pass over; lest the king be swallowed up, and all the people that are with him.
现在你们要急速打发人去，告诉大卫说，今夜不可住在旷野的渡口，务要过河，免得王和跟随他的人都被吞灭。

10. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.
坛内的面果不减少，瓶里的油也不缺短，正如耶和华藉以利亚所说的话。

11. And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.
离弃耶和华他们神的一切诫命，为自己铸了两个牛犊的像，立了亚舍拉，敬拜天上的万象，事奉巴力，

12. And next him was Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself unto the LORD; and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valour.
其次是细基利的儿子亚玛斯雅，他为耶和华牺牲自己，率领大能的勇士二十万。

13. They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust.
等到安息在尘土中，这指望必下到阴间的门闩那里了。

14. As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.
他轻看向王所起的誓，背弃王与他所立的约。主耶和华说，我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在立他作王，巴比伦王的京都。

15. As for me, I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow thee: neither have I desired the woeful day; thou knowest: that which came out of my lips was right before thee.
至于我，那跟从你作牧人的职分，我并没有急忙离弃，也没有想那灾殃的日子。这是你知道的。我口中所出的言语都在你面前。

16. And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
我带他到你门徒那里，他们却不能医治他。

17. And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
又俯伏在耶稣脚前感谢他。这人是撒玛利亚人。

18. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
他们不属世界，正如我不属世界一样。

19. Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.
保罗在雅典等候他们的时后，看见满城都是偶像，就心里着急。

20. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
你所看见的那十角，与兽，必恨这淫妇，使他冷落赤身。又要吃他的肉，用火将他烧尽。
