1. And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
亚伯拉罕受割礼的时候，年九十九岁。

2. Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth.
明哲人眼前有智慧。愚昧人眼望地极。

3. And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid.
以色列众人看见那人，就逃跑，极其害怕。

4. Then David came to Mahanaim. And Absalom passed over Jordan, he and all the men of Israel with him.
大卫到了玛哈念，押沙龙和跟随他的以色列人也都过了约旦河。

5. And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.
妇人对以利亚说，现在我知道你是神人，耶和华藉你口所说的话是真的。

6. And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.
亚述王从巴比伦，古他，亚瓦，哈马，和西法瓦音迁移人来，安置在撒马利亚的城邑，代替以色列人。他们就得了撒马利亚，住在其中。

7. Let it even be established, that thy name may be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel: and let the house of David thy servant be established before thee.
愿你的名永远坚立，被尊为大，说，万军之耶和华是以色列的神，是治理以色列的神。这样，你仆人大卫的家必在你面前坚立。

8. And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.
田野的树木都必知道我耶和华使高树矮小，矮树高大。青树枯乾，枯树发旺。我耶和华如此说，也如此行了。

9. And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;
耶和华说，你们若留意听从我，在安息日不担什么担子进入这城的各门，只以安息日为圣日，在那日无论何工都不作。

10. And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
到了迦百农，有收丁税的人来见彼得说，你们的先生不纳丁税吗。（丁税约有半块钱）

11. For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
因为人子在他降临的日子，好像闪电，从天这边一闪，直照到天那边。

12. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
父阿，我在那里，愿你所赐给我的人也同我在那里，叫他们看见你所赐给我的荣耀。因为创立世界以前，你已经爱我了。

13. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
创造宇宙和其中万物的神，既是天地的主，就不住人手所造的殿。
