1. And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
至于以实玛利，我也应允你，我必赐福给他，使他昌盛极其繁多，他必生十二个族长，我也要使他成为大国。

2. O LORD, there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
耶和华阿，照我们耳中听见，没有可比你的，除你以外再无神。

3. He that hath a froward heart findeth no good: and he that hath a perverse tongue falleth into mischief.
心存邪僻的，寻不着好处。舌弄是非的，陷在祸患中。

4. That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.
免得他向弟兄心高气傲，偏左偏右，离了这诫命。这样，他和他的子孙便可在以色列中，在国位上年长日久。

5. And David rose up early in the morning, and left the sheep with a keeper, and took, and went, as Jesse had commanded him; and he came to the trench, as the host was going forth to the fight, and shouted for the battle.
大卫早晨起来，将羊交托一个看守的人，照着他父亲所吩咐的话，带着食物去了。到了辎重营，军兵刚出到战场，呐喊要战。

6. And when Absalom's servants came to the woman to the house, they said, Where is Ahimaaz and Jonathan? And the woman said unto them, They be gone over the brook of water. And when they had sought and could not find them, they returned to Jerusalem.
押沙龙的仆人来到那家，问妇人说，亚希玛斯和约拿单在哪里。妇人说，他们过了河了。仆人找他们，找不着，就回耶路撒冷去了。

7. And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?
就求告耶和华说，耶和华我的神阿，我寄居在这寡妇的家里，你就降祸与她，使她的儿子死了吗。

8. And the LORD rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight.
耶和华就厌弃以色列全族，使他们受苦，把他们交在抢夺他们的人手中，以致赶出他们离开自己面前，

9. And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will plead with him there for his trespass that he hath trespassed against me.
我必将我的网撒在他身上，他必在我的网罗中缠住。我必带他到巴比伦，并要在那里因他干犯我的罪刑罚他。

10. And say unto them, Hear ye the word of the LORD, ye kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates:
对他们说，你们这犹大君王和犹大众人，并耶路撒冷的一切居民，凡从这些门进入的都当听耶和华的话。

11. And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
耶稣说，是因你们的信心小。我实在告诉你们，你们若有信心像一粒芥菜种，就是对这座山说，你从这边挪到那边，他也必挪去。并且你们没有一件不能作的事了。

12. And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
法利赛人问神的国几时来到。耶稣回答说，神的国来到，不是眼所能见的。

13. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
我不但为这些人祈求，也为那些因他们的话信我的人祈求。

14. For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean.
因为你有些奇怪的事，传到我们耳中。我们愿意知道这些事是什么意思。
