1. And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?
大卫说，我作了什么呢。我来岂没有缘故吗。

2. And honey, and butter, and sheep, and cheese of kine, for David, and for the people that were with him, to eat: for they said, The people is hungry, and weary, and thirsty, in the wilderness.
蜂蜜，奶油，绵羊，奶饼，供给大卫和跟随他的人吃。他们说，民在旷野，必饥渴困乏了。

3. Howbeit every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt.
然而，各族之人在所住的城里各为自己制造神像，安置在撒马利亚人所造有邱坛的殿中。

4. But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
到罗得出所多玛的那日，就有火与硫磺从天上降下来，把他们全灭了。

5. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
我们既是神所生的，就不当以为神的神性像人用手艺，心思，所雕刻的金，银，石。
