1. Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
亚伯拉罕就俯伏在地喜笑，心里说，一百岁的人还能得孩子吗。撒拉已经九十岁了，还能生养吗。

2. And yet this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken of thy servant's house for a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.
神阿，这在你眼中还看为小，又应许你仆人的家至于久远。耶和华神阿，你看顾我好像看顾高贵的人。

3. A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
朋友乃时常亲爱。弟兄为患难而生。

4. Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.
他也不可为自己多立妃嫔，恐怕他的心偏邪。也不可为自己多积金银。

5. And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only:
约书亚对约瑟家，就是以法莲和玛拿西人，说，你是族大人多，并且强盛，不可仅有一阄之地，

6. And Jesse said unto David his son, Take now for thy brethren an ephah of this parched corn, and these ten loaves, and run to the camp to thy brethren.
一日，耶西对他儿子大卫说，你拿一伊法烘了的穗子和十个饼，速速地送到营里去，交给你哥哥们。

7. Now Jonathan and Ahimaaz stayed by Enrogel; for they might not be seen to come into the city: and a wench went and told them; and they went and told king David.
那时，约拿单和亚希玛斯在隐罗结那里等候，不敢进城，恐怕被人看见。有一个使女出来，将这话告诉他们，他们就去报信给大卫王。

8. And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.
这事以后，作那家主母的妇人，她儿子病了。病得甚重，以致身无气息。

9. And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
又使他们的儿女经火，用占卜，行法术卖了自己，行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹动他的怒气。

10. And of Benjamin; Eliada a mighty man of valour, and with him armed men with bow and shield two hundred thousand.
便雅悯族，是大能的勇士以利雅大率领，拿弓箭和盾牌的二十万。

11. Neither shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons:
敌人筑垒造台，与他打仗的时候，为要剪除多人，法老虽领大军队和大群众，还是不能帮助他。

12. Be not a terror unto me: thou art my hope in the day of evil.
不要使我因你惊恐。当灾祸的日子，你是我的避难所。

13. Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
耶稣说，嗳，这又不信又悖谬的世代阿，我在你们这里要到几时呢。我忍耐你们要到几时呢。把他带到我这里来吧。

14. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
耶稣说，洁净了的不是十个人吗。那九个在那里呢。

15. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
求你用真理使他们成圣。你的道就是真理。

16. Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.
于是在会堂里，与犹太人，和虔敬的人，并每日在市上所遇见的人辩论。

17. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
因为神使诸王同心合意，遵行他的旨意，把自己的国给那兽，直等到神的话都应验了。
