1. But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
到明年这时节，撒拉必给你生以撒，我要与他坚定所立的约。

2. He that begetteth a fool doeth it to his sorrow: and the father of a fool hath no joy.
生愚昧子的，必自愁苦。愚顽人的父，毫无喜乐。

3. For Israel and the Philistines had put the battle in array, army against army.
以色列人和非利士人都摆列队伍，彼此相对。

4. And it came to pass, after they were departed, that they came up out of the well, and went and told king David, and said unto David, Arise, and pass quickly over the water: for thus hath Ahithophel counselled against you.
他们走后，二人从井里上来，去告诉大卫王说，亚希多弗如此如此定计害你，你们务要起来，快快过河。

5. And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.
以利亚三次伏在孩子的身上，求告耶和华说，耶和华我的神阿，求你使这孩子的灵魂仍入他的身体。

6. For he rent Israel from the house of David; and they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king: and Jeroboam drave Israel from following the LORD, and made them sin a great sin.
将以色列国从大卫家夺回。他们就立尼八的儿子耶罗波安作王。耶罗波安引诱以色列人不随从耶和华，陷在大罪里。

7. And what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt?
世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢。你神从埃及救赎他们作自己的子民，又在你赎出来的民面前行大而可畏的事，驱逐列邦人，显出你的大名。

8. And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward all winds: and ye shall know that I the LORD have spoken it.
他的一切军队，凡逃跑的，都必倒在刀下。所剩下的，也必分散四方（方原文作风）。你们就知道说这话的是我耶和华。

9. Thus saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;
耶和华如此说，你们要谨慎，不要在安息日担什么担子进入耶路撒冷的各门。

10. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
至于这一类的鬼，若不祷告禁食，他就不出来。（或作不能赶他出来）

11. Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
人也不得说，看哪，在这里。看哪，在那里。因为神的国就在你们心里。心里或作中间

12. That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
使他们都合而为一。正如你父在我里面，我在你里面，使他们也在我们里面。叫世人可以信你差了我来。

13. (For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)
