1. And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
亚伯兰年九十九岁的时候，耶和华向他显现，对他说，我是全能的神。你当在我面前作完全人，

2. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
耶和华对摩西说，

3. Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD remaineth under curtains.
大卫住在自己宫中，对先知拿单说，看哪，我住在香柏木的宫中，耶和华的约柜反在幔子里。

4. And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.
以色列全会众都遵耶和华的吩咐，按着站口从汛的旷野往前行，在利非订安营。百姓没有水喝，

5. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
耶和华对摩西说，

6. Thou shalt not sacrifice unto the LORD thy God any bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evilfavouredness: for that is an abomination unto the LORD thy God.
凡有残疾，或有什么恶病的牛羊，你都不可献给耶和华你的神，因为这是耶和华你神所憎恶的。

7. There was also a lot for the tribe of Manasseh; for he was the firstborn of Joseph; to wit, for Machir the firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead: because he was a man of war, therefore he had Gilead and Bashan.
玛拿西是约瑟的长子，他的支派拈阄所得之地记在下面。至于玛拿西的长子基列之父（或作主）玛吉，因为是勇士就得了基列和巴珊。

8. And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name was Micah.
以法莲山地有一个人名叫米迦。

9. Now the Philistines gathered together their armies to battle, and were gathered together at Shochoh, which belongeth to Judah, and pitched between Shochoh and Azekah, in Ephesdammim.
非利士人招聚他们的军旅，要来争战。聚集在属犹大的梭哥，安营在梭哥和亚西加中间的以弗大悯。

10. Moreover Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Let me now choose out twelve thousand men, and I will arise and pursue after David this night:
亚希多弗又对押沙龙说，求你准我挑选一万二千人，今夜我就起身追赶大卫，

11. And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
基列寄居的提斯比人以利亚对亚哈说，我指着所事奉永生耶和华以色列的神起誓，这几年我若不祷告，必不降露，不下雨。

12. In the twelfth year of Ahaz king of Judah began Hoshea the son of Elah to reign in Samaria over Israel nine years.
犹大王亚哈斯十二年，以拉的儿子何细亚在撒马利亚登基作以色列王九年。

13. And Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead, and strengthened himself against Israel.
亚撒的儿子约沙法接续他作王，奋勇自强，防备以色列人，

14. My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are ready for me.
我的心灵消耗，我的日子灭尽。坟墓为我预备好了。

15. Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
耶和华阿，求你听闻公义，侧耳听我的呼吁。求你留心听我这不出于诡诈嘴唇的祈祷。

16. Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.
设筵满屋，大家相争，不如有块乾饼，大家相安。

17. The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
论大马士革的默示。看哪，大马士革已被废弃，不再为城，必变作乱堆。

18. And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
耶和华的话临到我说，

19. The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: it is graven upon the table of their heart, and upon the horns of your altars;
犹大的罪是用铁笔，用金钢钻记录的，铭刻在他们的心版上和坛角上。

20. And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
过了六天，耶稣带着彼得，雅各，和雅各的兄弟约翰，暗暗的上了高山。

21. Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
耶稣又对门徒说，绊倒人的事是免不了的。但那绊倒人的有祸了。

22. These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
耶稣说了这话，就举目望天说，父阿，时候到了。愿你荣耀你的儿子，使儿子也荣耀你。

23. Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:
保罗和西拉，经过暗妃波里，亚波罗尼亚，来到帖撒罗尼迦，在那里有犹太人的会堂。

24. And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
拿着七碗的七位天使中，有一位前来对我说，你到这里来，我将坐在众水上的大淫妇所要受的刑罚指给你看。
