1. In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son.
正当那日，亚伯拉罕和他儿子以实玛利，一同受了割礼。

2. Also to punish the just is not good, nor to strike princes for equity.
判罚义人为不善。责打君子为不义。

3. And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?
大卫问站在旁边的人说，有人杀这非利士人，除掉以色列人的耻辱，怎样待他呢。这未受割礼的非利士人是谁呢。竟敢向永生神的军队骂阵吗。

4. So Israel and Absalom pitched in the land of Gilead.
押沙龙和以色列人都安营在基列地。

5. Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast removed, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the manner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land.
有人告诉亚述王说，你所迁移安置在撒马利亚各城的那些民，不知道那地之神的规矩，所以那神叫狮子进入他们中间，咬死他们。

6. And now, LORD, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:
耶和华阿，惟有你是神，你也应许将这福气赐给仆人。

7. And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD.
也必有人从犹大城邑和耶路撒冷四围的各处，从便雅悯地，高原，山地，并南地而来，都带燔祭，平安祭，素祭，和乳香，并感谢祭，到耶和华的殿去。

8. Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
彼得说，是向外人。耶稣说，既然如此，儿子就可以免税了。

9. And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
挪亚的日子怎样，人子的日子也要怎样。

10. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
我已将你的名指示他们，还要指示他们，使你所爱我的爱在他们里面，我也在他们里面。

11. And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
他从一本造出万族的人，（本有古卷作血脉），住在全地上，并且豫先定准他们的年限，和所住的疆界。
