1. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
我必使你的后裔极其繁多。国度从你而立，君王从你而出。

2. And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.
于是摩西晓谕以色列人，他们的首领就把杖交给他，按着支派，每首领一根，共有十二根。亚伦的杖也在其中。

3. Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars?
凡我同以色列人所走的地方，我何曾向以色列的一个士师，就是我吩咐牧养我民的说，你为何不给我建造香柏木的殿宇呢。

4. Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
我必在何烈的磐石那里，站在你面前。你要击打磐石，从磐石里必有水流出来，使百姓可以喝。摩西就在以色列的长老眼前赦样行了。

5. And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
祭司要把血洒在会幕门口，耶和华的坛上，把脂油焚烧，献给耶和华为馨香的祭。

6. At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.
要凭两三个人的口作见证将那当死的人治死。不可凭一个人的口作见证将他治死。

7. Because the daughters of Manasseh had an inheritance among his sons: and the rest of Manasseh's sons had the land of Gilead.
因为玛拿西的孙女们在玛拿西的孙子中得了产业。基列地是属玛拿西其馀的子孙。

8. In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
那时以色列中没有王，各人任意而行。

9. And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders.
腿上有铜护膝，两肩之中背负铜戟。

10. And when Hushai was come to Absalom, Absalom spake unto him, saying, Ahithophel hath spoken after this manner: shall we do after his saying? if not; speak thou.
户筛到了押沙龙面前，押沙龙向他说，亚希多弗是如此如此说的，我们照着他的话行可以不可以。若不可，你就说吧。

11. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.
乌鸦早晚给他叼饼和肉来，他也喝那溪里的水。

12. In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.
何细亚第九年亚述王攻取了撒马利亚，将以色列人掳到亚述，把他们安置在哈腊与歌散的哈博河边，并玛代人的城邑。

13. And his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD: moreover he took away the high places and groves out of Judah.
他高兴遵行耶和华的道，并且从犹大除掉一切邱坛和木偶。

14. He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret.
神使我作了民中的笑谈。他们也吐唾沫在我脸上。

15. I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.
神阿，我曾求告你，因为你必应允我。求你向我侧耳，听我的言语。

16. Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.
子孙为老人的冠冕。父亲是儿女的荣耀。

17. Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel.
其间所剩下的不多，好像人打橄榄树，在尽上的枝梢上，只剩两三个果子，在多果树的旁枝上，只剩四五个果子。这是耶和华以色列的神说的。

18. And it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature, whose branches turned toward him, and the roots thereof were under him: so it became a vine, and brought forth branches, and shot forth sprigs.
就渐渐生长，成为蔓延矮小的葡萄树。其枝转向那鹰，其根在鹰以下，于是成了葡萄树，生出枝子，发出小枝。

19. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
因他必像沙漠的杜松，不见福乐来到，却要住旷野乾旱之处，无人居住的硷地。

20. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
门徒听见，就俯伏在地，极其害怕。

21. And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
主说，你们若有信心像一粒芥菜种，就是对这棵桑树说，你要拔起根来栽在海里，他也必听从你们。

22. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
你从世上赐给我的人，我已将你的名显明与他们。他们本是你的，你将他们赐给我，他们也遵守了你的道。

23. And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;
找不着他们，就把耶孙和几个弟兄，拉到地方官那里，喊叫说，那搅乱天下的，也到这里来了。

24. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
我又看见那女人喝醉了圣徒的血，和为耶稣作见证之人的血。我看见他，就大大的希奇。
