1. And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
当神毁灭平原诸城的时候,他记念亚伯拉罕,正在倾覆罗得所住之城的时候,就打发罗得从倾覆之中出来。

2. Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.
不可辱没你的女儿,使她为娼妓,恐怕地上的人专向淫乱,地就满了大恶。

3. And then the coast turneth to Ramah, and to the strong city Tyre; and the coast turneth to Hosah; and the outgoings thereof are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:
转到拉玛和坚固城泰尔。又转到何萨,靠近亚革悉一带地方,直通到海。

4. And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel.
到了家里,用刀将妾的尸身切成十二块,使人拿着传送以色列的四境。

5. And the king said unto him, Why speakest thou any more of thy matters? I have said, Thou and Ziba divide the land.
王对他说,你何必再提你的事呢。我说,你与洗巴均分地土。

6. And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year that which springeth of the same; and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruits thereof.
以色列人哪,我赐你们一个证据,你们今年要吃自生的,明年也要吃自长的。至于后年,你们要耕种收割,栽植葡萄园,吃其中的果子。

7. Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.
你们就当惧怕刀剑。因为忿怒惹动刀剑的刑罚,使你们知道有报应(原文作审判)。

8. Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.
刑罚是为亵慢人豫备的。鞭打是为愚昧人的背豫备的。

9. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
凡为我的名撇下房屋,或是弟兄,姐妹,父亲,母亲,(有古卷添妻子),儿女,田地的,必要得着百倍,并且承受永生。

10. And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,
将近伯法其和伯大尼,在一座山名叫橄榄山那里。就打发两个门徒,说,

11. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
有一个器皿盛满了醋,放在那里。他们就拿海绒蘸满了醋,绑在牛膝草上,送到他口。

12. And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.
满城都轰动起来。众人拿住保罗同行的马其顿人,该犹,和亚里达古,齐心拥进戏园里去。
