1. And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
罗得切切地请他们，他们这才进去，到他屋里。罗得为他们预备筵席，烤无酵饼，他们就吃了。

2. And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
摩西到神那里，耶和华从山上呼唤他说，你要这样告诉雅各家，晓谕以色列人说，

3. Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.
你们各人都当孝敬父母，也要守我的安息日。我是耶和华你们的神。

4. And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:
交给祭司以利亚撒。他必牵到营外，人就把牛宰在他面前。

5. Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may flee thither.
要将耶和华你神使你承受为业的地分为三段。又要预备道路，使误杀人的，都可以逃到那里去。

6. And Hazarshual, and Balah, and Azem,
哈萨书亚，巴拉，以森，

7. And her husband arose, and went after her, to speak friendly unto her, and to bring her again, having his servant with him, and a couple of asses: and she brought him into her father's house: and when the father of the damsel saw him, he rejoiced to meet him.
她丈夫起来，带着一个仆人，两匹驴去见她，用好话劝她回来。女子就引丈夫进入父家。她父见了那人，便欢欢喜喜地迎接。

8. And I will go out and stand beside my father in the field where thou art, and I will commune with my father of thee; and what I see, that I will tell thee.
我就出到你所藏的田里，站在我父亲旁边与他谈论。我看他情形怎样，我必告诉你。

9. And the people gat them by stealth that day into the city, as people being ashamed steal away when they flee in battle.
那日众民暗暗地进城，就如败阵逃跑，惭愧的民一般。

10. And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.
以利亚见这光景就起来逃命，到了犹大的别是巴，将仆人留在那里，

11. And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy; for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.
对他说，希西家如此说，今日是急难，责罚，凌辱的日子，就如妇人将要生产婴孩，却没有力量生产。

12. But the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun, Thinkest thou that David doth honour thy father, that he hath sent comforters unto thee? are not his servants come unto thee for to search, and to overthrow, and to spy out the land?
但亚扪人的首领对哈嫩说，大卫差人来安慰你，你想他是尊敬你父亲吗。他的臣仆来见你不是为详察窥探，倾覆这地吗。

13. Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.
然而你还有善行，因你从国中除掉木偶，立定心意寻求神。

14. These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me.
你们这十次羞辱我。你们苦待我也不以为耻。

15. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
无言无语，也无声音可听。

16. The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD.
人的愚昧，倾败他的道。他的心也抱怨耶和华。

17. And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
埃及人的心神，必在里面耗尽。我必败坏他们的谋略。他们必求问偶像，和念咒的，交鬼的，行巫术的。

18. And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.
说，犹大君王和耶路撒冷的居民哪，当听耶和华的话。万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说，我必使灾祸临到这地方，凡听见的人都必耳呜。

19. And she brought up one of her whelps: it became a young lion, and it learned to catch the prey; it devoured men.
在它小狮子中养大一个，成了少壮狮子，学会抓食而吃人。

20. The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
有法利赛人来试探耶稣说，人无论什么缘故，都可以休妻吗。

21. And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.
他要看看耶稣是怎样的人。只因人多，他的身量又矮，所以不得看见。

22. And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.
又挨近他说，恭喜犹太人的王阿。他们就用手掌打他。

23. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
保罗说，这样，你们受的是什么洗呢。他们说，是约翰的洗。

24. And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
又说，哈利路亚。烧淫妇的烟往上冒，直到永永远远。
