1. Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.
于是，摩西召了以色列的众长老来，对他们说，你们要按着家口取出羊羔，把这逾越节的羊羔宰了。

2. If the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
耶和华你神所选择要立他名的地方若离你太远，就可以照我所吩咐的，将耶和华赐给你的牛羊取些宰了，可以随心所欲在你城里吃。

3. The king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one;
一个是他纳王，一个是米吉多王，

4. And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.
若偏离耶和华去顺从那不能救人的虚神是无益的。

5. Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.
臣仆问他说，你所行的是什么意思。孩子活着的时候，你禁食哭泣。孩子死了，你倒起来吃饭。

6. And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, with the tribe of Benjamin, an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of Solomon.
罗波安来到耶路撒冷，招聚犹大全家和便雅悯支派的人共十八万，都是挑选的战士，要与以色列家争战，好将国夺回，再归所罗门的儿子罗波安。

7. For Jozachar the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, smote him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.
杀他的那臣仆就是示米押的儿子约撒甲和朔默的儿子约萨拔。众人将他葬在大卫城他列祖的坟地里。他儿子亚玛谢接续他作王。

8. And they helped David against the band of the rovers: for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host.
这些人帮助大卫攻击群贼。他们都是大能的勇士，且作军长。

9. Of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethaneel.
希勒家族有哈沙比雅。耶大雅族有拿坦业。

10. He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.
他使君王蒙羞被辱，放松有力之人的腰带。

11. There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.
义人不遭灾害恶人满受祸患。

12. And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
耶和华的话临到我说，

13. And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.
外邦人都要仰望他的名。

14. And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.
第二个娶了他，也死了，没有留下孩子。第三个也是这样。

15. So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
凡为自己积财，在神面前却不富足的，也是这样。

16. The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
他们来见加利利伯赛大的腓力，求他说，先生，我们愿意见耶稣。

17. And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.
希律在所定的日子，穿上朝服，坐在位上，对他们讲论一番。

18. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
你不可为恶所胜，反要以善胜恶。

19. And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
眼不能对手说，我用不着你。头也不能对脚说，我用不着你。

20. And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.
且怕我来的时候，我的神叫我在你们面前渐愧。又因许多人从前犯罪，行污秽奸淫邪荡的事，不肯悔改，我就忧愁。

21. And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
所见的极其可怕，甚至摩西说，我甚是恐惧战竞。
