1. And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.
埃及人催促百姓，打发他们快快出离那地，因为埃及人说，我们都要死了。

2. So he offered upon the altar which he had made in Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar, and burnt incense.
他在八月十五日，就是他私自所定的月日，为以色列人立作节期的日子，在伯特利上坛烧香。

3. Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which could keep rank: they were not of double heart.
西布伦支派，能上阵用各样兵器打仗，行伍整齐，不生二心的有五万人。

4. And Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
又有亚撒利雅，以斯拉，米书兰，

5. Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
你们或以为树好，果子也好。树坏，果子也坏。因为看果子，就可以知道树。

6. And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
并且尽心，尽智，尽力，爱他，又爱人如己，就比一切燔祭，和各样祭祀，好的多。

7. Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
你们要变卖所有的，周济人。为自己豫备永不坏的钱囊，用不尽的财宝在天上，就是贼不能近，虫不能蛀的地方。

8. This he said, signifying what death he should die.
耶稣这话原是指着自己将要怎样死说的。
