1. And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.
撒莱对亚伯兰说,耶和华使我不能生育。求你和我的使女同房,或者我可以因她得孩子(得孩子原文作被建立)。亚伯兰听从了撒莱的话。

2. And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:
以色列全会众在旷野向摩西,亚伦发怨言,

3. And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.
要告诉你哥哥亚伦,不可随时进圣所的幔子内,到柜上的施恩座前,免得他死亡,因为我要从云中显现在施恩座上。

4. And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:
并以色列会中的二百五十个首领,就是有名望选入会中的人,在摩西面前一同起来,

5. Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to place his name there.
你当在耶和华所选择要立为他名的居所,从牛群羊群中,将逾越节的祭牲献给耶和华你的神。

6. And goeth out from Bethel to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,
又从伯特利到路斯,接连到亚基人的境界,至亚他绿。

7. And it was told the Gazites, saying, Samson is come hither. And they compassed him in, and laid wait for him all night in the gate of the city, and were quiet all the night, saying, In the morning, when it is day, we shall kill him.
有人告诉迦萨人说,参孙到这里来了。他们就把他团团围住,终夜在城门悄悄埋伏,说,等到天亮我们便杀他。

8. And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD.
撒母耳说,我怎能去呢。扫罗若听见,必要杀我。耶和华说,你可以带一只牛犊去,就说,我来是要向耶和华献祭。

9. And the king said unto Ziba, What meanest thou by these? And Ziba said, The asses be for the king's household to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat; and the wine, that such as be faint in the wilderness may drink.
王问洗巴说,你带这些来是什么意思呢。洗巴说,驴是给王的家眷骑的。面饼和夏天的果饼是给少年人吃的。酒是给在旷野疲乏人喝的。

10. Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;
我既从尘埃中提拔你,立你作我民以色列的君,你竟行耶罗波安所行的道,使我民以色列陷在罪里,惹我发怒,

11. Twenty years old was Ahaz when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and did not that which was right in the sight of the LORD his God, like David his father.
他登基的时候年二十岁,在耶路撒冷作王十六年。不像他祖大卫行耶和华他神眼中看为正的事,

12. And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
大卫献完了燔祭和平安祭,就奉耶和华的名给民祝福,

13. Then Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the house of the LORD and of the king's house, and sent to Benhadad king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,
于是亚撒从耶和华殿和王宫的府库里拿出金银来,送与住大马士革的亚兰王便哈达,说,

14. I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are ye all.
这样的话我听了许多。你们安慰人,反叫人愁烦。

15. O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
我的心哪,你曾对耶和华说,你是我的主。我的好处不在你以外。

16. All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
人一切所行的,在自己眼中看为清洁。惟有耶和华衡量人心。

17. For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
摩押的居民,(居民原文作女子)在亚嫩渡口,必像游飞的鸟,如拆窝的雏。

18. Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place.
你在这地方不可娶妻,生儿养女。

19. Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,
人子阿,你要使耶路撒冷知道她那些可憎的事,

20. He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.
耶稣回答说,晚上天发红,你们就说,天必要晴。

21. And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
七日的第一日清早,出太阳的时候,他们来到坟墓那里。

22. And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
主人叫他来,对他说,我听见你这事怎吗样呢。把你所经管的交待明白。因你不能再作我的管家。

23. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
人要把你们赶出会堂。并且时候将到,凡杀你们的,就以为是事奉神。

24. Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium.
路司得和以哥念的弟兄,都称赞他。

25. That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.
请你们为主接待她,合乎圣徒的体统。她在何事上,要你们帮助,你们就帮助她。因她素来帮助许多人,也帮助了我。

26. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
每逢七日的第一日,各人要照自己的进项抽出来留着。免得我来的时候现凑。

27. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
第一位天使便去,把碗倒在地上,就有恶而且毒的疮,生在那些有兽印记,拜兽像的人身上。
