1. And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?
摩西，亚伦就俯伏在地，说，神，万人之灵的神阿，一人犯罪，你就要向全会众发怒吗，

2. Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
说，不可难为我受膏的人，也不可恶待我的先知。

3. And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
到第六天，他们收了双倍的食物，每人两俄梅珥。会众的官长来告诉摩西，

4. And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.
要把这羊放在旷野，这羊要担当他们一切的罪孽，带到无人之地。

5. Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the LORD thy God hateth.
也不可为自己设立柱像。这是耶和华你神所恨恶的。

6. Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.
然而他的头发被剃之后，又渐渐长起来了。

7. And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray thee, stand before me; for he hath found favour in my sight.
扫罗差遣人去见耶西，说，求你容大卫侍立在我面前，因为他在我眼前蒙了恩。

8. So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house; and Absalom went in unto his father's concubines in the sight of all Israel.
于是人为押沙龙在宫殿的平顶上支搭帐棚。押沙龙在以色列众人眼前，与他父的妃嫔亲近。

9. But the people that followed Omri prevailed against the people that followed Tibni the son of Ginath: so Tibni died, and Omri reigned.
但随从暗利的民胜过随从基纳的儿子提比尼的民。提比尼死了，暗利就作了王。

10. When a few years are come, then I shall go the way whence I shall not return.
因为再过几年，我必走那往而不返之路。

11. Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.
人有智慧就有生命的泉源。愚昧人必被愚昧惩治。

12. And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood.
你行这一切可憎和淫乱的事，并未追念你幼年赤身露体滚在血中的日子。

13. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
彼得就拉着他说，主阿，万不可如此，这事必不临到你身上。

14. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
后来那讨饭的死，被天使放在亚伯拉罕的怀里。财主也死了，并且埋葬了。

15. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
你们现在也是忧愁。但我要再见你们，你们的心就喜乐了。这喜乐，也没有人能夺去。

16. And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.
众人就一同起来攻击他们。官长吩咐剥了他们的衣裳，用棍打。

17. I Tertius, who wrote this epistle, salute you in the Lord.
我这代笔写信的德丢，在主里面问你们安。

18. If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.
若有人不爱主，这人可诅可咒。主必要来。
