1. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
又对亚当说，你既听从妻子的话，吃了我所吩咐你不可吃的那树上的果子，地必为你的缘故受咒诅。你必终身劳苦，才能从地里得吃的。

2. And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
我也说，要将你们从埃及的困苦中领出来，往迦南人，赫人，亚摩利人，比利洗人，希未人，耶布斯人的地去，就是到流奶与蜜之地。

3. It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.
在你们一切的住处，脂油和血都不可吃，这要成为你们世世代代永远的定例。

4. And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
利未众子的名字是革顺，哥辖，米拉利。

5. The plain also, and Jordan, and the coast thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, under Ashdothpisgah eastward.
又将亚拉巴和靠近约旦河之地，从基尼烈直到亚拉巴海，就是盐海，并毗斯迦山根东边之地，都给了他们。

6. And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.
抬耶和华约柜的祭司在约旦河中的乾地上站定，以色列众人都从乾地上过去，直到国民尽都过了约旦河。

7. And he brought the present unto Eglon king of Moab: and Eglon was a very fat man.
他将礼物献给摩押王伊矶伦，原来伊矶伦极其肥胖。

8. And she said, These six measures of barley gave he me; for he said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in law.
又说，那人给了我六簸箕大麦，对我说，你不可空手回去见你的婆婆。

9. And he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee.
以利说，耶和华对你说什么，你不要向我隐瞒。你若将神对你所说的隐瞒一句，愿他重重地降罚与你。

10. And Abner had communication with the elders of Israel, saying, Ye sought for David in times past to be king over you:
押尼珥对以色列长老说，从前你们愿意大卫作王治理你们，

11. And the one woman said, O my lord, I and this woman dwell in one house; and I was delivered of a child with her in the house.
一个说，我主阿，我和这妇人同住一房。她在房中的时候，我生了一个男孩。

12. For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.
因为耶和华如此说，你们虽不见风，不见雨，这谷必满了水，使你们和牲畜有水喝。

13. And the sons of Jeconiah; Assir, Salathiel his son,
耶哥尼雅被掳。他的儿子是撒拉铁，

14. And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
将两根柱子立在殿前，一根在右边，一根在左边。右边的起名叫雅斤，左边的起名叫波阿斯。

15. After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part.
其次是利未人，巴尼的儿子利宏修造。其次是管理基伊拉一半，哈沙比雅为他所管的本境修造。

16. There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest.
在那里恶人止息搅扰，困乏人得享安息。

17. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
他的道是安乐，他的路全是平安。

18. I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
我心里说，神必审判义人和恶人。因为在那里，各样事务，一切工作，都有定时。

19. Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.
所以主必使锡安的女子头长秃疮，耶和华又使他们赤露下体。

20. And the way of peace have they not known:
平安的路，他们未曾知道。

21. At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.
那时，人必称耶路撒冷为耶和华的宝座。万国必到耶路撒冷，在耶和华立名的地方聚集。他们必不再随从自己顽梗的恶心行事。

22. And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity.
你使我远离平安，我忘记好处。

23. Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
人子阿，我立你作以色列家守望的人，所以你要听我口中的话，替我警戒他们。

24. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
即便如此，我们所事奉的神能将我们从烈火的窑中救出来。王阿，他也必救我们脱离你的手。

25. So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
你们就知道我是耶和华你们的神，且又住在锡安我的圣山。那时，耶路撒冷必成为圣，外邦人不再从其中经过。

26. Thy crowned are as the locusts, and thy captains as the great grasshoppers, which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun ariseth they flee away, and their place is not known where they are.
你的首领，多如蝗虫，你的军长，彷佛成群的蚂蚱，天凉的时候，齐落在篱笆上，日头一出便都飞去，人不知道落在何处。

27. Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
虽然无花果树不发旺，葡萄树不结果，橄榄树也不效力，田地不出粮食，圈中绝了羊，棚内也没有牛。

28. The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
耶和华你的神，是施行拯救，大有能力的主，他在你中间必因你欢欣喜乐，默然爱你，且因你喜乐而欢呼。

29. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
万军之耶和华说，在我所定的日子，他们必属我，特特归我，我必怜恤他们，如同人怜恤服事自己的儿子。

30. And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
从天上有声音说，这是我的爱子，我所喜悦的。

31. And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:
还有西庇太的儿子雅各，和雅各的兄弟约翰。又给这两个人起名叫半尼其，就是雷子的意思。

32. Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.
他手里拿着簸箕，要扬净他的场，把麦子收在仓里，把糠用不灭的火烧尽了。

33. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
因为神差他的儿子降世，不是要定世人的罪，（或作审判世人下同）乃是要叫世人因他得救。

34. And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
弟兄们，我晓得你们作这事，是出于不知，你们的官长也是如此。

35. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
若有人毁坏神的殿，神必要毁坏那人。因为神的殿是圣的，这殿就是你们。

36. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
主就是那灵。主的灵在那里，那里就得以自由。

37. And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
我是这吗说，神豫先所立的约，不能被那四百三十年以后的律法废掉，叫应许归于虚空。

38. That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
使基督因你们的信，住在你们心里，叫你们的爱心，有根有基，

39. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
弟兄们，你们要一同效法我，也当留意看那些照我们榜样行的人。

40. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
无论作什么，或说话，或行事，都要奉主耶稣的名，藉着他感谢父神。

41. The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.
我保罗亲笔问你们安。凡我的信都以此为记。我的笔迹就是这样。

42. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
叫属神的人得以完全，豫备行各样的善事。

43. But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
神四十年之久，又厌烦谁呢。岂不是那些犯罪尸首倒在旷野的人吗。

44. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
惟独从上头来的智慧，先是清洁，后是和平，温良柔顺，满有怜悯，多结善果，没有偏见，没有假冒。

45. For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
神的旨意若叫你们因行善受苦，总强如因行恶受苦。

46. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
亲爱的弟兄阿，你们既然豫先知道这事，就当防备，恐怕被恶人的错谬诱惑，就从自己坚固的地步上坠落。

47. But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
凡有世上财物的，看见弟兄穷乏，却塞住怜恤的心，爱神的心怎能存在他里面呢。

48. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
你说，我是富足，已经发了财，一样都不缺。却不知道你是那困苦，可怜，贫穷，瞎眼，赤身的。
