1. And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
革顺的子孙在会幕中所要看守的，就是帐幕和罩棚，并罩棚的盖与会幕的门帘，

2. I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.
求你容我过去，看约旦河那边的美地，就是那佳美的山地和黎巴嫩。

3. And they tarried till they were ashamed: and, behold, he opened not the doors of the parlour; therefore they took a key, and opened them: and, behold, their lord was fallen down dead on the earth.
他们等烦了，见仍不开楼门，就拿钥匙开了，不料，他们的主人已死，倒在地上。

4. Thou knowest Abner the son of Ner, that he came to deceive thee, and to know thy going out and thy coming in, and to know all that thou doest.
你当晓得，尼珥的儿子押尼珥来是要诓哄你，要知道你的出入和你一切所行的事。

5. And the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other.
王说，将活孩子劈成两半，一半给那妇人，一半给这妇人。

6. And they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his stone, and filled it; and they stopped all the wells of water, and felled all the good trees: only in Kirharaseth left they the stones thereof; howbeit the slingers went about it, and smote it.
拆毁摩押的城邑，各人抛石填满一切美田，塞住一切水泉，砍伐各种佳树，只剩下吉珥哈列设的石墙。甩石的兵在四围攻打那城。

7. Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lieth out from the king's high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.
乌赛的儿子，巴拉修造对着城墙的转弯，和王上宫凸出来的城楼，靠近护卫院的那一段。其次是巴录的儿子毗大雅修造。

8. For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
因我所恐惧的临到我身，我所惧怕的迎我而来。

9. Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.
忽然来的惊恐，不要害怕。恶人遭毁灭，也不要恐惧。

10. Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.
你的男丁，必倒在刀下，你的勇士，必死在阵上。

11. We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.
我们在羞耻中躺卧吧。愿惭愧将我们遮盖。因为从立国（原文作幼年）以来，我们和我们的列祖常常得罪耶和华我们的神，没有听从耶和华我们神的话。

12. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
凡等候耶和华，心里寻求他的，耶和华必施恩给他。

13. But thou, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt not go out among them:
人子阿，人必用绳索捆绑你，你就不能出去在他们中间来往。

14. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
王说，看哪，我见有四个人，并没有捆绑，在火中游行，也没有受伤。那第四个的相貌好像神子。

15. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
若一家自相分争，那家就站立不住。

16. Which was the son of Mattathias, which was the son of Amos, which was the son of Naum, which was the son of Esli, which was the son of Nagge,
约瑟是玛他提亚的儿子，玛他提亚是亚摩斯的儿子，亚摩斯是拿鸿的儿子，拿鸿是以斯利的儿子，以斯利是拿该的儿子，

17. Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.
约翰的门徒，和一个犹太人辩论洁净的礼。

18. Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
你们是先知的子孙，也承受神与你们祖宗所立的约，就是对亚伯拉罕说，地上万族，都要因你的后裔得福。

19. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
神设立耶稣作挽回祭，是凭着耶稣的血，藉着人的信，要显明神的义。因为他用忍耐的心，宽容人先时所犯的罪。

20. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
但这因信得救的理，既然来到，我们从此就不在师傅的手下了。

21. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
那行不义的，必受不义的报应。主不偏待人。
