1. Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
地必给你长出荆棘和蒺藜来，你也要吃田间的菜蔬。

2. And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.
他们必听你的话。你和以色列的长老要去见埃及王，对他说，耶和华希伯来人的神遇见了我们，现在求你容我们往旷野去，走三天的路程，为要祭祀耶和华我们的神。

3. And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.
革顺的儿子，按着家室，是立尼，示每。

4. And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war.
那时，我吩咐你们说，耶和华你们的神已将这地赐给你们为业。你们所有的勇士都要带着兵器，在你们的弟兄以色列人前面过去。

5. And when he had made an end to offer the present, he sent away the people that bare the present.
以笏献完礼物，便将抬礼物的人打发走了，

6. Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day.
婆婆说，女儿阿，你只管安坐等候，看这事怎样成就，因为那人今日不办成这事必不休息。

7. And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good.
撒母耳就把一切话都告诉了以利，并没有隐瞒。以利说，这是出于耶和华，愿他凭自己的意旨而行。

8. Now then do it: for the LORD hath spoken of David, saying, By the hand of my servant David I will save my people Israel out of the hand of the Philistines, and out of the hand of all their enemies.
现在你们可以照心愿而行。因为耶和华曾论到大卫说，我必藉我仆人大卫的手，救我民以色列脱离非利士人和众仇敌的手。

9. And it came to pass the third day after that I was delivered, that this woman was delivered also: and we were together; there was no stranger with us in the house, save we two in the house.
我生孩子后第三日，这妇人也生了孩子。我们是同住的，除了我们二人之外，房中再没有别人。

10. And this is but a light thing in the sight of the LORD: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.
在耶和华眼中这还算为小事，他也必将摩押人交在你们手中。

11. Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
玛基兰，毗大雅，示拿萨，耶加米，何沙玛，尼大比雅。

12. After him repaired their brethren, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.
其次是利未人弟兄中管理基伊拉那一半，希拿达的儿子巴瓦伊修造。

13. There the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor.
被囚的人同得安逸，不听见督工的声音。

14. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
他与持守他的作生命树。持定他的俱各有福。

15. I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
我心里说，这乃为世人的缘故，是神要试验他们，使他们觉得自己不过像兽一样。

16. In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
到那日，主必除掉他们华美的脚钏，发网，月牙圈。

17. There is no fear of God before their eyes.
他们眼中不怕神。

18. In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.
当那些日子，犹大家要和以色列家同行，从北方之地一同来到我赐给你们列祖为业之地。

19. And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD:
我就说，我的力量衰败。我在耶和华那里毫无指望。

20. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
我何时指着恶人说，他必要死。你若不警戒他，也不劝戒他，使他离开恶行，拯救他的性命，这恶人必死在罪孽之中。我却要向你讨他丧命的罪（原文作血）。

21. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
即或不然，王阿，你当知道我们决不事奉你的神，也不敬拜你所立的金像。

22. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
到那日，大山要滴甜酒。小山要流奶子，犹大溪河都有水流。必有泉源从耶和华的殿中流出来，滋润什亭谷。

23. Thy shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria: thy nobles shall dwell in the dust: thy people is scattered upon the mountains, and no man gathereth them.
亚述王阿，你的牧人睡觉，你的贵胄安歇。你的人民散在山间，无人招聚。

24. Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
然而我要因耶和华欢欣，因救我的神喜乐。

25. I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.
那些属你，为无大会愁烦，因你担当羞辱的，我必聚集他们。

26. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
那时，你们必归回，将善人和恶人。事奉神的和不事奉神的，分别出来。

27. And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
又有安得烈，腓力，巴多罗买，马太，多马，亚勒腓的儿子雅各，和达太，并奋锐党的西门。

28. And many other things in his exhortation preached he unto the people.
约翰又用许多别的话劝百姓，向他们传福音。

29. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
信他的人，不被定罪。不信的人，罪已经定了，因为他不信神独生子的名。

30. But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
但神曾藉众先知的口，预言基督将要受害，就这样应验了。

31. Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
人不可自欺。你们中间若有人，在这世界自以为有智慧，倒不如变作愚拙，好成为有智慧的。

32. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.
我们众人既然倘着脸，得以看见主的荣光，好像从镜子里反照，就变成主的形状，荣上加荣，如同从主的灵变成的。

33. For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
因为承受产业，若本乎律法，就不本乎应许。但神是凭着应许，把产业赐给亚伯拉罕。

34. May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
能以和众圣徒一同明白基督的爱，是何等长阔高深，

35. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
因为有许多人行事，是基督十字架的仇敌。我屡次告诉你们，现在又流泪的告诉你们。

36. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
你们作妻子的，当顺服自己的丈夫，这在主里面是相宜的。

37. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
愿我们主耶稣基督的恩，常与你们众人同在。

38. And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
又向谁起誓，不容他们进入他的安息呢。岂不是向那些不信从的人吗。

39. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
并且使人和平的，是用和平所栽种的义果。

40. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
因基督也曾一次为罪受苦（受苦有古卷作受死），就是义的代替不义的，为要引我们到神面前。按着肉体说他被治死。按着灵性说他复活了。

41. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
你们却要在我们主救主耶稣基督的恩典和知识上有长进。愿荣耀归给他，从今直到永远。阿们。

42. My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
小子们哪，我们相爱，不要只在言语和舌头上。总要在行为和诚实上。

43. I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
我劝你向我买火炼的金子，叫你富足。又买白衣穿上，叫你赤身的羞耻不露出来。又买眼药擦你的眼睛，使你能看见。
