1. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
他们二人的眼睛就明亮了,才知道自己是赤身露体,便拿无花果树的叶子,为自己编作裙子。

2. And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
耶和华说,我的百姓在埃及所受的困苦,我实在看见了,他们因受督工的辖制所发的哀声,我也听见了。我原知道他们的痛苦,

3. If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the LORD.
若献一只羊羔为供物,必在耶和华面前献上,

4. And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.
替他和会众在会幕前守所吩咐的,办理帐幕的事。

5. But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.
惟有一切牲畜和城中的财物都取为自己的掠物。

6. And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.
耶和华对约书亚说,从今日起,我必使你在以色列众人眼前尊大,使他们知道我怎样与摩西同在,也必照样与你同在。

7. And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.
以色列人行耶和华眼中看为恶的事,忘记耶和华他们的神,去事奉诸巴力和亚舍拉,

8. And when Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of corn: and she came softly, and uncovered his feet, and laid her down.
波阿斯吃喝完了,心里欢畅,就去睡在麦堆旁边。路得便悄悄地来掀开他脚上的被,躺卧在那里。

9. Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.
那时撒母耳还未认识耶和华,也未得耶和华的默示。

10. And Saul had a concubine, whose name was Rizpah, the daughter of Aiah: and Ishbosheth said to Abner, Wherefore hast thou gone in unto my father's concubine?
扫罗有一妃嫔,名叫利斯巴,是爱亚的女儿。一日,伊施波设对押尼珥说,你为什么与我父的妃嫔同房呢。

11. And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.
耶和华我的神阿,如今你使仆人接续我父亲大卫作王。但我是幼童,不知道应当怎样出入。

12. And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me: wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up: I am as thou art, my people as thy people, and my horses as thy horses.
前行的时候,差人去见犹大王约沙法,说,摩押王背叛我,你肯同我去攻打摩押吗。他说,我肯上去,你我不分彼此,我的民与你的民一样,我的马与你的马一样。

13. And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
挪迦,尼斐,雅非亚,

14. He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.
又用金子贴殿和殿的楝梁,门槛,墙壁,门扇。墙上雕刻基路伯。

15. They gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and meat, and drink, and oil, unto them of Zidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea of Joppa, according to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia.
他们又将银子给石匠,木匠。把粮食,酒,油给西顿人,推罗人,使他们将香柏树从黎巴嫩运到海里,浮海运到约帕,是照波斯王居鲁士所允准的。

16. And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the river.
其次是基遍人米拉提,米伦人雅顿与基遍人,并属河西总督所管的米斯巴人修造。

17. In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.
亚哈随鲁王十二年正月,就是尼散月,人在哈曼面前,按日日月月掣普珥,就是掣签,要定何月何日为吉,择定了十二月,就是亚达月。

18. Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come therein.
愿那夜没有生育,其间也没有欢乐的声音。

19. Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
耶和华阿,求你起来。我的神阿,求你救我。因为你打了我一切仇敌的腮骨,敲碎了恶人的牙齿。

20. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
不要自以为有智慧。要敬畏耶和华,远离恶事。

21. A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
撕裂有时,缝补有时。静默有时,言语有时。

22. Behold his bed, which is Solomon's; threescore valiant men are about it, of the valiant of Israel.
看哪,是所罗门的轿。四围有六十个勇士,都是以色列中的勇士。

23. In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.
那时他必扬声说,我不作医治你们的人。因我家中没有粮食,也没有衣服。你们不可立我作百姓的官长。

24. Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
主耶和华若不将奥秘指示他的仆人众先知,就一无所行。

25. For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
若神的真实,因我的虚谎,越发显出他的荣耀,为什么我还受审判,好像罪人呢。

26. And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
她行这些事以后,我说她必归向我,她却不归向我。她奸诈的妹妹犹大也看见了。

27. He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy.
他用篱笆围住我,使我不能出去。他使我的铜链沉重。

28. But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.
以色列家却不肯听从你,因为他们不肯听从我。原来以色列全家是额坚心硬的人。

29. Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
因此各方,各国,各族的人民一听见角,笛,琵琶,琴,瑟,和各样乐器的声音,就都俯伏敬拜尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像。

30. Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
我必激动他们离开你们所卖到之地,又必使报应归到你们的头上。

31. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:
他又使人遍告尼尼微通城,说,王和大臣有令,人不可尝什么,牲畜,牛羊不可吃草,也不可喝水。

32. Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
先见必抱愧,占卜的必蒙羞,都必捂着嘴唇,因为神不应允他们。

33. And it shall come to pass, that all they that look upon thee shall flee from thee, and say, Nineveh is laid waste: who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters for thee?
凡看见你的,都必逃跑离开你,说,尼尼微荒凉了。有谁为你悲伤呢。我何处寻得安慰你的人呢。

34. I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
我见古珊的帐棚遭难,米甸的幔子战兢。

35. I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings.
我说,你只要敬畏我,领受训诲。如此,你的住处,不致照我所拟定的除灭。只是你们从早起来,就在一切事上败坏自己。

36. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
万军之耶和华如此说,你若遵行我的道,谨守我的命令,你就可以管理我的家,看守我的院宇。我也要使你在这些站立的人中间来往。

37. Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
万军之耶和华说,从你们列祖的日子以来,你们常常偏离我的典章,而不遵守。现在你们要转向我,我就转向你们。你们却问说。我们如何才是转向呢。

38. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
约翰看见许多法利赛人和撒都该人,也来受洗,就对他们说,毒蛇的种类,谁指示你们逃避将来的忿怒呢。

39. But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,
耶稣和门徒退到海边去。有许多人从加利利跟随他。

40. Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
约翰对那出来要受他洗的众人说,毒蛇的种类,谁指示你们逃避将来的忿怒呢。

41. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
我说,你们必须重生,你不要以为希奇。

42. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
于是拉着他的右手,扶他起来,他的脚和踝子骨,立刻健壮了。

43. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
可见栽种的算不得什么,浇灌的也算不得什么。只在那叫他生长的神。

44. But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
那用字刻在石头上属死的职事,尚且有荣光,甚至以色列人因摩西面上的荣光,不能定睛看他的脸。这荣光原是渐渐退去的。

45. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
所以你们要知道那以信为本的人,就是亚伯拉罕的子孙。

46. Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
我作了这福音的执事,是照神的恩赐。这恩赐是照他运行的大能赐给我的。

47. But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
只是我先前以为与我有益的,我现在因基督都当作有损的。

48. In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
当你们在这些事中活着的时候,也曾这样行过。

49. Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:
所以弟兄们,我们在一切困苦患难之中,因着你们的信心就得了安慰。

50. For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
你们自己原知道应当怎样效法我们。因为我们在你们中间,未尝不按规矩而行。

51. Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
监督也必须在教外有好名声,恐怕被人毁谤,落在魔鬼的网罗里。

52. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
常常学习,终久不能明白真道。

53. That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
好叫我们因他的恩得称为义,可以凭着永生的盼望成为后嗣。(或作可以凭着盼望承受永生)。

54. Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
圣灵有话说,你们今日若听他的话,

55. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
各类的走兽,飞禽,昆虫,水族,本来都可以制伏,也以经被人制伏了。

56. Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
你们作丈夫的,也要按情理和妻子同住(情理原文作知识)。因他比你软弱(比你软弱原文是软弱的器皿),与你一同承受生命之恩的,所以要敬重他。这样便叫你们的祷告没有阻碍。

57. But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
但现在的天地,还是凭着那命存留,直留到不敬虔之人受审判遭沈沦的日子,用火焚烧。

58. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
小子们哪,不要被人诱惑,行义的才是义人。正如主是义的一样。

59. And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
你要写信给非拉铁非教会的使者,说,那圣洁,真实,拿着大卫的钥匙,开了就没有人能关,关了就没有人能开的,说,
