1. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
耶和华神呼唤那人，对他说，你在哪里。

2. Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
现在以色列人的哀声达到我耳中，我也看见埃及人怎样欺压他们。

3. And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
从平安祭中，将火祭献给耶和华，其中的脂油和整肥尾巴都要在靠近脊骨处取下，并要把盖脏的脂油和脏上所有的脂油，

4. And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.
你要将利未人给亚伦和他的儿子，因为他们是从以色列人中选出来给他的。

5. (Which Hermon the Sidonians call Sirion; and the Amorites call it Shenir;)
（这黑门山，西顿人称为西连，亚摩利人称为示尼珥），

6. And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come hither, and hear the words of the LORD your God.
约书亚对以色列人说，你们近前来，听耶和华你们神的话。

7. And when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel, who delivered them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother.
以色列人呼求耶和华的时候，耶和华就为他们兴起一位拯救者救他们，就是迦勒兄弟基纳斯的儿子俄陀聂。

8. And he said, Who art thou? And she answered, I am Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman.
他就说，你是谁。回答说，我是你的婢女路得。求你用你的衣襟遮盖我，因为你是我一个至近的亲属。

9. Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
因此以利对撒母耳说，你仍去睡吧。若再呼唤你，你就说，耶和华阿，请说，仆人敬听。撒母耳就去，仍睡在原处。

10. *So do God to Abner, and more also, except, as the LORD hath sworn to David, even so I do to him;


11. Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?
所以求你赐我智慧，可以判断你的民，能辨别是非。不然，谁能判断这众多的民呢。

12. So the king of Israel went, and the king of Judah, and the king of Edom: and they fetched a compass of seven days' journey: and there was no water for the host, and for the cattle that followed them.
于是，以色列王和犹大王，并以东王，都一同去绕行七日的路程。军队和所带的牲畜没有水喝。

13. These were all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Tamar their sister.
这都是大卫的儿子，还有他们的妹子她玛，妃嫔的儿子不在其内。

14. And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.
金钉重五十舍客勒。楼房都贴上金子。

15. Then stood Jeshua with his sons and his brethren, Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, together, to set forward the workmen in the house of God: the sons of Henadad, with their sons and their brethren the Levites.
于是犹大（拉02：40作何达威雅）的后裔，就是耶书亚和他的子孙与弟兄。甲篾和他的子孙，利未人希拿达的子孙与弟兄，都一同起来，督理那在神殿做工的人。

16. And next unto them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem.
其次是管理耶路撒冷一半，户珥的儿子利法雅修造。

17. If it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king's treasuries.
王若以为美，请下旨意灭绝他们。我就捐一万他连得银子交给掌管国帑的人，纳入王的府库。

18. Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day:
愿那夜黎明的星宿变为黑暗，盼亮却不亮，也不见早晨的光线（光线原文作眼皮）。

19. Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
你要以财物，和一切初熟的土产，尊荣耶和华。

20. What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
这样看来，作事的人在他的劳碌上有什么益处呢。

21. King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon.
所罗门王用黎巴嫩木，为自己制造一乘华轿。

22. The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
他们的面色证明自己的不正。他们述说自己的罪恶，并不隐瞒，好像所多玛一样。他们有祸了。因为作恶自害。

23. Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof.
要在亚实突的宫殿中，和埃及地的宫殿里，传扬说，你们要聚集在撒玛利亚的山上，就看见城中有何等大的扰乱与欺压的事。

24. What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
这却怎吗样呢。我们比他们强吗。决不是的。因为我们已经证明，犹太人和希腊人都在罪恶之下。

25. And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
因以色列轻忽了她的淫乱，和石头木头行淫，地就被玷污了。

26. He hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked.
他用凿过的石头挡住我的道。他使我的路弯曲。

27. As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
我使你的额像金钢钻，比火石更硬。他们虽是悖逆之家，你不要怕他们，也不要因他们的脸色惊惶。

28. They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.
他们对尼布甲尼撒王说，愿王万岁。

29. Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
当在万民中宣告说，要预备打仗。激动勇士。使一切战士上前来。

30. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
或者神转意后悔，不发烈怒，使我们不致灭亡，也未可知。

31. Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.
雅各家的首领，以色列家的官长阿，当听我的话。你们厌恶公平，在一切事上屈枉正直。

32. Ethiopia and Egypt were her strength, and it was infinite; Put and Lubim were thy helpers.
古实和埃及是她无穷的力量。弗人和路比族是她的帮手。

33. Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
你的弓全然显露。向众支派所起的誓，都是可信的。（细拉）你以江河分开大地。

34. For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.
那时，我必使万民用清洁的言语，好求告我耶和华的名，同心合意地事奉我。

35. For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
看哪，我在约书亚面前所立的石头，在一块石头上有七眼。万军之耶和华说，我要亲自雕刻这石头，并要在一日之间，除掉这地的罪孽。

36. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
因你们通国的人，都夺取我的供物，咒诅就临到你们身上。

37. And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
不要自己心里说，有亚伯拉罕为我们的祖宗。我告诉你们，神能从这些石头中给亚伯拉罕兴起子孙来。

38. And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.
他因为人多，就吩咐门徒叫一只小船伺候着，免得众人拥挤他。

39. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
现在斧子已经放在树根上，凡不结好果子的树，就砍下来丢在火里。

40. Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
尼哥底母问他说，怎能有这事呢。

41. And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
百姓都看见他行走，赞美神。

42. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
因为我们是与神同工的。你们是神所耕种的田地，所建造的房屋。

43. For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
若是定罪的职事有荣光，那称义的职事，荣光就越发大了。

44. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
可见那以信为本的人，和有信心的亚伯拉罕一同得福。

45. And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
又使众人都明白，这历代以来隐藏在创造万物之神里的奥秘，是如何安排的。

46. And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
我为他已经丢弃万事，看作粪土，为要得着基督。并且得以在他里面，不是有自己因律法而得的义，乃是有信基督的义，就是因信神而来的义。

47. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
不要彼此说谎，因你们已经脱去旧人和旧人的行为，

48. For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;
我们在神面前，因着你们甚是喜乐，为这一切喜乐，可用何等的感谢，为你们报答神呢。

49. Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
这并不是因我们没有权柄，乃是要给你们作榜样，叫你们效法我们。

50. Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
要存清洁的良心，固守真道的奥秘。

51. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
然而他们不能再这样敌挡，因为他们的愚昧，必在众人面前显露出来，像那二人一样。

52. But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
要远避无知的辩论，和家谱的空谈，以及分争，并因律法而起的争竞。因为这都是虚妄无益的。

53. When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
在那里，你们的祖宗试我探我，并且观看我的作为，有四十年之久。

54. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
我们用舌头颂赞那为主为父的，又用舌头咒诅那照着神形像被造的人。

55. Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
不要以恶报恶，以辱骂还辱骂，倒要祝福。因你们是为此蒙召，好叫你们承受福气。

56. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
主所应许的尚未成就，有人以为他是耽延，其实不是耽延，乃是宽容你们，不愿有一人沈沦，乃愿人人都悔改。

57. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
凡从神生的就不犯罪，因神的道（原文作种）存在他心里。他也不能犯罪，因为他是由神生的。

58. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
那撒但一会的，自称是犹太人，其实不是犹太人，乃是说谎话的，我要使他们来在你脚前下拜，也使他们知道我是已经爱你了。
