1. And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
天起了凉风,耶和华神在园中行走。那人和他妻子听见神的声音,就藏在园里的树木中,躲避耶和华神的面。

2. And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
我下来是要救他们脱离埃及人的手,领他们出了那地,,到美好,宽阔,流奶与蜜之地,就是到迦南人,赫人,亚摩利人,比利洗人,希未人,耶布斯人之地。

3. And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.
并要按手在供物的头上,宰于会幕前。亚伦的子孙要把血洒在坛的周围。

4. And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
又要看守会幕的器具,并守所吩咐以色列人的,办理帐幕的事。

5. And we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon;
那时,我们从约旦河东两个亚摩利王的手将亚嫩谷直到黑门山之地夺过来

6. And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan.
你要吩咐抬约柜的祭司说,你们到了约旦河的水边上,就要在约旦河水里站住。

7. Therefore the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia: and the children of Israel served Chushanrishathaim eight years.
所以耶和华的怒气向以色列人发作,就把他们交在美索不达米亚王古珊利萨田的手中。以色列人服事古珊利萨田八年。

8. And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet.
到了夜半,那人忽然惊醒,翻过身来,不料有女子躺在他的脚下。

9. And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.
耶和华第三次呼唤撒母耳。撒母耳起来,到以利那里,说,你又呼唤我。我在这里。以利才明白是耶和华呼唤童子。

10. Then was Abner very wroth for the words of Ishbosheth, and said, Am I a dog's head, which against Judah do shew kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that thou chargest me to day with a fault concerning this woman?
押尼珥因伊施波设的话就甚发怒,说,我岂是犹大的狗头呢。我恩待你父扫罗的家和他的弟兄,朋友,不将你交在大卫手里,今日你竟为这妇人责备我吗。

11. And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.
仆人住在你所拣选的民中,这民多得不可胜数。

12. And he said, Which way shall we go up? And he answered, The way through the wilderness of Edom.
约兰说,我们从哪条路上去呢。回答说,从以东旷野的路上去。

13. And Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.
以利沙玛,以利雅大,以利法列,共九人。

14. And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
又建造至圣所,长二十肘,与殿的宽窄一样,宽也是二十肘。贴上精金,共用金子六百他连得。

15. Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the LORD.
百姓到了耶路撒冷神殿的地方。第二年二月,撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯,约萨达的儿子,耶书亚和其馀的弟兄,就是祭司,利未人,并一切被掳归回耶路撒冷的人,都兴工建造。又派利未人,从二十岁以外的,督理建造耶和华殿的工作。

16. Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.
其次是银匠,哈海雅的儿子乌薛修造。其次是做香的哈拿尼雅修造。这些人修坚耶路撒冷,直到宽墙。

17. And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the king's laws: therefore it is not for the king's profit to suffer them.
哈曼对亚哈随鲁王说,有一种民,散居在王国各省的民中,他们的律例与万民的律例不同,也不守王的律例,所以容留他们与王无益。

18. Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning.
愿那咒诅日子且能惹动鳄鱼的,咒诅那夜。

19. Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
救恩属乎耶和华。愿你赐福给你的百姓。(细拉)

20. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
这便医治你的肚脐,滋润你的百骨。

21. A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
喜爱有时,恨恶有时。争战有时,和好有时。

22. They all hold swords, being expert in war: every man hath his sword upon his thigh because of fear in the night.
手都持刀,善于争战,腰间佩刀,防备夜间有惊慌。

23. For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
耶路撒冷败落,犹大倾倒。因为他们的舌头,和行为,与耶和华反对,惹了他荣光的眼目。

24. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
狮子吼叫,谁不惧怕呢。主耶和华发命,谁能不说预言呢。

25. And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
为什么不说,我们可以作恶以成善呢,这是毁谤我们的人,说我们有这话。这等人定罪,是该当的。

26. And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
背道的以色列行淫,我为这缘故给她休书休她。我看见她奸诈的妹妹犹大,还不惧怕,也去行淫。

27. Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer.
我哀号求救。他使我的祷告不得上达。

28. Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.
看哪,我使你的脸硬过他们的脸,使你的额硬过他们的额。

29. Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.
那时,有几个迦勒底人进前来控告犹大人。

30. And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
我必将你们的儿女卖在犹大人的手中,他们必卖给远方示巴国的人。这是耶和华说的。

31. But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
人与牲畜都当披上麻布,人要切切求告神。各人回头离开所行的恶道,丢弃手中的强暴。

32. But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
至于我,我藉耶和华的灵,满有力量公平才能,可以向雅各说明他的过犯,向以色列指出他的罪恶。

33. Art thou better than populous No, that was situate among the rivers, that had the waters round about it, whose rampart was the sea, and her wall was from the sea?
你岂比挪亚们强呢。挪亚们坐落在众河之间,周围有水。海(指尼罗河)作她的濠沟,又作她的城墙。

34. Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?
耶和华阿,你乘在马上,坐在得胜的车上,岂是不喜悦江河,向江河发怒气,向洋海发愤恨吗。

35. Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
耶和华说,你们要等候我,直到我兴起掳掠的日子,因为我已定意招聚列国,聚集列邦,将我的恼怒,就是我的烈怒,都倾在她们身上。我的忿怒如火,必烧灭全地。

36. Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
大祭司约书亚阿,你和坐在你面前的同伴都当听。(他们是作预兆的)。我必使我仆人大卫的苗裔发出。

37. Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
人岂可夺取神之物呢。你们竟夺取我的供物,你们却说,我们在何事上夺取你的供物呢。就是你们在当纳的十分之一,和当献的供物上。

38. Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
你们要结出果子来,与悔改的心相称。

39. And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.
还有许多人听见他所作的大事,就从犹太,耶路撒冷,以土买,约旦河外,并推罗西顿的四方,来到他那里。

40. Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
你们要结出果子来,与悔改的心向称,不要自己心里说,有亚伯拉罕为我们的祖宗。我告诉你们,神能从这些石头中,给亚伯拉罕兴起子孙来。

41. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
风随着意思吹,你听见风的响声,却不晓得从那里来,往那里去。凡从圣灵生的,也是如此。

42. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
就跳起来,站着,又行走。同他们进了殿,走着,跳着,赞美神。

43. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
栽种的和浇灌的都是一样。但将来各人要照自己的工夫,得自己的赏赐。

44. How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
何况那属灵的职事,岂不更有荣光吗。

45. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
并且圣经既然豫先看明,神要叫外邦人因信称义,就早已传福音给亚伯拉罕,说,万国都必因你得福。

46. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
我本来比众圣徒中最小的还小。然而他还赐我这恩典,叫我把基督那测不透的丰富,传给外邦人。

47. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
不但如此,我也将万事都当有损的,因我以认识我主基督耶稣为至宝。

48. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
但现在你们要弃绝这一切的事,以及恼恨,忿怒,恶毒,(或作阴毒)毁谤,并口中污秽的言语。

49. For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
你们若靠主站立得稳,我们就活了。

50. Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
也未尝白吃人的饭。倒是辛苦劳碌,昼夜作工,免得叫你们一人受累。

51. Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
论执事的也是如此,必须端庄,不一口两舌,不好喝酒,不贪不义之财。

52. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
从前雅尼和佯庇怎样敌挡摩西,这等人也怎样敌挡真道。他们的心地坏了,在真道上是可废弃的。

53. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
这话是可信的,我也愿你把这些事,切切实实的讲明,使那些已信神的人,留心作正经事业。(或作留心行善)这都是美事,并且与人有益。

54. Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
就不可硬着心,像在旷野惹他发怒,试探他的时候一样。

55. But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
惟独舌头没有人能制伏,是不止息的恶物,满了害死人的毒气。

56. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
总而言之,你们都要同心,彼此体恤,相爱如弟兄,存慈怜谦卑的心。

57. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
亲爱的弟兄阿,有一件事你们不可忘记,就是主看一日如千年,千年如一日。

58. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
犯罪的是属魔鬼,因为魔鬼从起初就犯罪。神的儿子显现出来,为要除灭魔鬼的作为。

59. I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
我知道你的行为,你略有一点力量,也曾遵守我的道,没有弃绝我的名。看哪,我在你面前给你一个敞开的门,是无人能关的。
