1. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
蛇对女人说，你们不一定死，

2. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
耶和华神见他过去要看，就从荆棘里呼叫说，摩西，摩西。他说，我在这里。

3. And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.
并两个腰子和腰子上的脂油，就是靠腰两旁的脂油，与肝上的网子和腰子，一概取下。

4. And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father.
拿答，亚比户在西奈的旷野向耶和华献凡火的时候就死在耶和华面前了。他们也没有儿子。以利亚撒，以他玛在他们的父亲亚伦面前供祭司的职分。

5. And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
那时，我们夺了他所有的城，共有六十座，没有一座城不被我们所夺。这为亚珥歌伯的全境，就是巴珊地噩王的国。

6. Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore.
只是你们和约柜相离要量二千肘，不可与约柜相近，使你们知道所当走的路，因为这条路你们向来没有走过。

7. And they were to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.
留下这几族，为要试验以色列人，知道他们肯听从耶和华藉摩西吩咐他们列祖的诫命不肯。

8. And it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will tell thee what thou shalt do.
到他睡的时候，你看准他睡的地方，就进去掀开他脚上的被，躺卧在那里，他必告诉你所当做的事。

9. That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.
耶和华呼唤撒母耳。撒母耳说，我在这里。

10. And the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith; and the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital;
四子亚多尼雅是哈及所生的。五子示法提雅是亚比她所生的。

11. And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.
所罗门王上基遍去献祭。因为在那里有极大（或作出名）的邱坛，他在那坛上献一千牺牲作燔祭。

12. And Mesha king of Moab was a sheepmaster, and rendered unto the king of Israel an hundred thousand lambs, and an hundred thousand rams, with the wool.
摩押王米沙牧养许多羊，每年将十万羊羔的毛和十万公绵羊的毛给以色列王进贡。

13. These six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.
这六人都是大卫在希伯仑生的。大卫在希伯仑作王七年零六个月，在耶路撒冷作王三十三年。

14. And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
殿前的廊子长二十肘，与殿的宽窄一样，高一百二十肘。里面贴上精金。

15. They kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required;
又照律法书上所写的守住棚节，按数照例献每日所当献的燔祭。

16. And next unto them repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah, the son of Koz. And next unto them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel. And next unto them repaired Zadok the son of Baana.
其次是哈哥斯的孙子，乌利亚的儿子米利末修造。其次是米示萨别的孙子，比利迦的儿子米书兰修造。其次是巴拿的儿子撒督修造。

17. Now it came to pass, when they spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai's matters would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew.
他们天天劝他，他还是不听，他们就告诉哈曼，要看末底改的事站得住站不住，因他已经告诉他们自己是犹大人。

18. Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.
愿那日变为黑暗。愿神不从上面寻梢它。愿亮光不照于其上。

19. I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
我用我的声音求告耶和华，他就从他的圣山上应允我。（细拉）

20. So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
这样，你必在神和世人眼前蒙恩宠，有聪明。

21. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
哭有时，笑有时。哀恸有时，跳舞有时。

22. It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.
我刚离开他们，就遇见我心所爱的。我拉住他，不容他走，领他入我母家，到怀我者的内室。

23. And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
主说，我必使孩童作他们的首领，使婴孩辖管他们。

24. God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
断乎不能。不如说，神是真实的，人都是虚谎的。如经上所记，你责备人的时候，显为公义。被人议论的时候，可以得胜。

25. Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth?
从今以后，你岂不向我呼叫说，我父阿，你是我幼年的恩主。

26. My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones.
他使我的皮肉枯乾。他折断（或作压伤）我的骨头。

27. And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.
他对我说，人子阿，你往以色列家那里去，将我的话对他们讲说。

28. Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,
那时传令的大声呼叫说，各方，各国，各族（原文作舌下同）的人哪，有令传与你们，

29. For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:
以色列人也必多日独居，无君王，无首领，无祭祀，无柱像，无以弗得，无家中的神像。

30. Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;
推罗，西顿，和非利士四境的人哪，你们与我何干。你们要报复我吗。若报复我，我必使报应速速归到你们的头上。

31. Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?
狮子若非抓食，岂能在林中咆哮呢。少壮狮子若无所得，岂能从洞中发声呢。

32. And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
约拿进城走了一日，宣告说，再等四十日，尼尼微必倾覆了。

33. Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
到了遭灾的时候，这些人必哀求耶和华，他却不应允他们。那时他必照他们所行的恶事，向他们掩面。

34. Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.
都因那美貌的妓女多有淫行，惯行邪术，藉淫行诱惑列国，用邪术诱惑（原文作卖）多族。

35. And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.
他的辉煌如同日光。从他手里射出光线。在其中藏着他的能力。

36. Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.
她的先知是虚浮诡诈的人。她的祭司亵渎圣所，强解律法。

37. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
使者吩咐站在面前的说，你们要脱去他污秽的衣服。又对约书亚说，我使你脱离罪孽，要给你穿上华美的衣服。

38. Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
那时，犹大和耶路撒冷所献的供物，必蒙耶和华悦纳，彷佛古时之日，上古之年。

39. And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
这约翰身穿骆驼毛的衣服，腰束皮带，吃的是蝗虫野蜜。

40. And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
又问众人说，在安息日行善行恶，救命害命，那样是可以的呢。他们都不作声。

41. As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
正如先知以赛亚书上所记的话，说，在旷野有人声喊着说，豫备主的道，修直他的路。

42. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
尼哥底母说，人已经老了，如何能重生呢。岂能再进母腹生出来吗。

43. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
彼得约翰定睛看他。彼得说，你看我们。

44. For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
有说，我是属保罗的。有说，我是属亚波罗的。这岂不是你们和世人一样吗。

45. And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
我们因基督所以在神面前才有这样的信心，

46. Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
你们受苦如此之多，都是徒然的吗。难道果真是徒然的吗。

47. Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
你们念了，就能晓得我是深知基督的奥秘。

48. Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
其实我也可以靠肉体。若是别人想他可以靠肉体，我更可以靠着了。

49. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
基督是我们的生命，他显现的时候，你们也要与他一同显现在荣耀里。

50. For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
我们在你们那里的时候，豫先告诉你们，我们必受患难，以后果然应验了，你们也知道。

51. And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
我们靠主深信你们现在是遵行我们所吩咐的，后来也必要遵行。

52. One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
好好管理自己的家，使儿女凡事端庄顺服。（或作端端庄庄的使儿女顺服）

53. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
卖主卖友，任意妄为，自高自大，爱宴乐不爱神。

54. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
但到了神我们救主的恩慈，和他向人所施的慈爱显明的时候，

55. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
因为房屋都必有人建造。但建造万物的就是神。

56. Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
看哪，船只虽然甚大，又被大风催逼，只用小小的舵，就随着掌舵的意思转动。

57. But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
只要以里面存着长久温柔安静的心为妆饰。这在神面前是极宝贵的。

58. And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
主要降临的应许在那里呢。因为从列祖睡了以来，万物与起初创造的时候仍是一样。

59. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
凡犯罪的，就是违背律法。违背律法就是罪。

60. Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
然而在撒狄你还有几名是未曾污秽自己衣服的。他们要穿白衣与我同行。因为他们是配得过的。
