1. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
于是女人见那棵树的果子好作食物，也悦人的眼目，且是可喜爱的，能使人有智慧，就摘下果子来吃了。又给她丈夫，她丈夫也吃了。

2. Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
又说，我是你父亲的神，是亚伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神。摩西蒙上脸，因为怕看神。

3. And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.
人向耶和华献供物为平安祭，若是从羊群中献，无论是公的是母的，必用没有残疾的。

4. Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.
你使利未支派近前来，站在祭司亚伦面前好服事他，

5. And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.
我们将这些都毁灭了，像从前待希实本王西宏一样，把有人烟的各城，连女人带孩子，尽都毁灭。

6. And Joshua spake unto the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.
约书亚又吩咐祭司说，你们抬起约柜，在百姓前头过去。于是他们抬起约柜，在百姓前头走。

7. And they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and served their gods.
娶他们的女儿为妻，将自己的女儿嫁给他们的儿子，并事奉他们的神。

8. And she went down unto the floor, and did according to all that her mother in law bade her.
路得就下到场上，照她婆婆所吩咐她的而行。

9. And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.
耶和华又呼唤撒母耳。撒母耳起来，到以利那里，说，你呼唤我。我在这里。以利回答说，我的儿，我没有呼唤你，你去睡吧。

10. And it came to pass, while there was war between the house of Saul and the house of David, that Abner made himself strong for the house of Saul.
扫罗家和大卫家争战的时候，押尼珥在扫罗家大有权势。

11. And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.
所罗门说，你仆人我父亲大卫用诚实，公义，正直的心行在你面前，你就向他大施恩典，又为他存留大恩，赐他一个儿子坐在他的位上，正如今日一样。

12. And king Jehoram went out of Samaria the same time, and numbered all Israel.
那时约兰王出撒马利亚，数点以色列众人。

13. Ibhar also, and Elishama, and Eliphelet,
还有益辖，以利沙玛，以利法列，

14. And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
又用宝石装饰殿墙，使殿华美。所用的金子都是巴瓦音的金子。

15. From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the LORD. But the foundation of the temple of the LORD was not yet laid.
从七月初一日起，他们就向耶和华献燔祭。但耶和华殿的根基尚未立定。

16. Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
巴西亚的儿子，耶何耶大与比所玳的儿子，米书兰修造古门，架横梁，安门扇和闩锁。

17. And he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had shewed him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai.
他们已将末底改的本族告诉哈曼。他以为下手害末底改一人是小事，就要灭绝亚哈随鲁王通国所有的犹大人，就是末底改的本族。

18. As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.
愿那夜被幽暗夺取，不在年中的日子同乐，也不入月中的数目。

19. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
虽有成万的百姓来周围攻击我，我也不怕。

20. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
在你一切所行的事上，都要认定他，他必指引你的路。

21. A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
寻梢有时，失落有时。保守有时，舍弃有时。

22. Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant?
那从旷野上来，形状如烟柱，没药和乳香并商人各样香粉薰的是谁呢。

23. When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:
人在父家拉住弟兄，说，你有衣服，可以作我们的官长，这败落的事归在你手下吧。

24. God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
断乎不是。若是这样，神怎能审判世界呢。

25. The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.
约西亚王在位的时候，耶和华又对我说，背道的以色列所行的，你看见没有。她上各高山，在各青翠树下行淫。

26. He hath set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old.
他使我住在幽暗之处，像死了许久的人一样。

27. Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.
不是往那说话深奥，言语难懂的多国去，他们的话语是你不懂得的。我若差你往他们那里去，他们必听从你。

28. And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
凡不俯伏敬拜的，必立时扔在烈火的窑中。

29. The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.
并将犹大人，和耶路撒冷人，卖给希腊人（原文是雅完人），使他们远离自己的境界。

30. Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
城中若吹角，百姓岂不惊恐呢。灾祸若临到一城，岂非耶和华所降的吗。

31. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
这信息传到尼尼微王的耳中，他就下了宝座，脱下朝服，披上麻布，坐在灰中。

32. Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
你们必遭遇黑夜，以致不见异象。又必遭遇幽暗，以致不能占卜。日头必向你们沉落，白昼变为黑暗。

33. And I will cast abominable filth upon thee, and make thee vile, and will set thee as a gazingstock.
我必将可憎污秽之物抛在你身上，辱没你，为众目所观。

34. He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.
他站立，量了大地（或作使地震动），观看，赶散万民。永久的山崩裂，长存的岭塌陷。他的作为与古时一样。

35. I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.
我耶和华已经除灭列国的民。他们的城楼毁坏。我使他们的街道荒凉，以致无人经过。他们的城邑毁灭，以致无人，也无居民。

36. And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,
耶和华的使者告诫约书亚说，

37. For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
因我耶和华是不改变的，所以你们雅各之子没有灭亡。

38. And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.
承认他们的罪，在约旦河里受他的洗。

39. And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
法利赛人出去，同希律一党的人商议，怎样可以除灭耶稣。

40. And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
凡是血气的，都要见神的救恩。

41. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
从肉身生的，就是肉身。从灵生的，就是灵。

42. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
彼得说，金银我都没有，只把我所有的给你，我奉拿撒勒人耶稣基督的名，叫你起来行走。

43. I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
我栽种了，亚波罗浇灌了。惟有神叫他生长。

44. Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
他叫我们能承当这新约的执事。不是凭着字句，乃是凭着精意。因为那字句是叫人死，精意是叫人活。（精意或作圣灵）。

45. Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
正如，亚伯拉罕信神，这就算为他的义。

46. That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
这奥秘就是外邦人在基督耶稣里，藉着福音，得以同为后嗣，同为一体，同蒙应许。

47. Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
就热心说，我是逼迫教会的。就律法上的义说，我是无可指摘的。

48. For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
因这些事，神的忿怒必临到那悖逆之子。

49. But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you:
但提摩太刚才从你们那里回来，将你们信心和爱心的好消息报给我们，又说你们常常记念我们，切切的想见我们，如同我们想见你们一样。

50. Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
弟兄们，我们奉主耶稣基督的名吩咐你们，凡有弟兄不按规矩而行，不遵守从我们所受的教训，就当远离他。

51. Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
初入教的不可作监督，恐怕他自高自大，就落在魔鬼所受的刑罚里。

52. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
那偷进人家，牢笼无知妇女的，正是这等人。这些妇女担负罪恶，被各样的私欲引诱。

53. Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
圣灵就是神藉着耶稣基督我们救主，厚厚浇灌在我们身上的。

54. But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
但基督为儿子，治理神的家。我们若将可夸的盼望和胆量，坚持到底，便是他的家了。

55. And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
舌头就是火，在我们百体中，舌头是个罪恶的世界，能污秽全身，也能把生命的轮子点起来，并且是从地狱里点着的。

56. Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
就如撒拉听从亚伯拉罕，称他为主。你们若行善，不因恐吓而害怕，便是撒拉的女儿了。

57. Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
故此，当时的世界被水淹没就消灭了。

58. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
凡住在他里面的，就不犯罪。凡犯罪的，是未曾看见他，也未曾认识他。

59. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
圣灵向众教会所说的话，凡有耳的，就应当听。
