1. These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD.
这是革顺子孙各族中被数的，是在会幕里办事的，就是摩西，亚伦照耶和华藉摩西所吩咐数点的。

2. Then Moses severed three cities on this side Jordan toward the sunrising;
那时，摩西在约旦河东，向日出之地，分定三座城，

3. But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot.
以利沙说，拿点面来，就把面撒在锅中，说，倒出来，给众人吃吧。锅中就没有毒了。

4. And these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote their tents, and the habitations that were found there, and destroyed them utterly unto this day, and dwelt in their rooms: because there was pasture there for their flocks.
以上录名的人，在犹大王希西家年间，来攻击含族人的帐棚和那里所有的米乌尼人，将他们灭尽，就住在他们的地方，直到今日，因为那里有草场可以牧放羊群。

5. And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
他们就大大的惧怕，彼此说，这到底是谁，连风和海也听从他了。

6. And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.
又有鬼从好些人身上出来，喊着说，你是神的儿子。耶稣斥责他们，不许他们说话，因为他们知道他是基督。

7. And many more believed because of his own word;
因耶稣的话，信的人就更多了。
