1. And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
亚伯兰说，主耶和华阿，我怎能知道必得这地为业呢。

2. And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.
你发鼻中的气，水便聚起成堆，大水直立如垒，海中的深水凝结。

3. And if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
若患漏症人吐在洁净的人身上，那人必不洁净到晚上，并要洗衣服，用水洗澡。

4. And when thou preparest a bullock for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in performing a vow, or peace offerings unto the LORD:
你预备公牛作燔祭，或是作平安祭，为要还特许的愿，或是作平安祭，献给耶和华，

5. But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
总要向他松开手，照他所缺乏的借给他，补他的不足。

6. And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
上到欣嫩子谷，贴近耶布斯的南界（耶布斯就是耶路撒冷）。又上到欣嫩谷西边的山顶，就是在利乏音谷极北的边界。

7. And he smote them hip and thigh with a great slaughter: and he went down and dwelt in the top of the rock Etam.
参孙就大大击杀他们，连腿带腰都砍断了。他便下去，住在以坦磐的穴内。

8. And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
生擒了亚玛力王亚甲，用刀杀尽亚玛力的众民。

9. For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the LORD shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD.
因为仆人住在亚兰的基述，曾许愿说，耶和华若使我再回耶路撒冷，我必事奉他。

10. And Abijam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead.
亚比央与他列祖同睡，葬在大卫的城里。他儿子亚撒接续他作王。

11. In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.
犹大王亚撒利雅三十八年，耶罗波安的儿子撒迦利雅在撒马利亚作以色列王六个月。

12. Of the sons of Elizaphan; Shemaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred:
以利撒反子孙中有族长示玛雅和他的弟兄二百人。

13. And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.
亚撒听见这话和俄德儿子先知亚撒利雅的预言，就壮起胆来，在犹大，便雅悯全地，并以法莲山地所夺的各城，将可憎之物尽都除掉，又在耶和华殿的廊前重新修筑耶和华的坛。

14. Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself?
你曾听见神的密旨吗。你还将智慧独自得尽吗。

15. The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
恶人献祭，为耶和华所憎恶。正直人祈祷，为他所喜悦。

16. For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beerelim.
哀声遍闻摩押的四境。哀号的声音，达到以基莲。哀号的声音，达到比珥以琳。

17. Their widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city.
他们的寡妇在我面前比海沙更多。我使灭命的午间来，攻击少年人的母亲，使痛苦惊吓忽然临到她身上。

18. And I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith the Lord GOD.
我必使地土荒凉，因为他们行事干犯我。这是主耶和华说的。

19. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
这百姓用嘴唇尊敬我，心却远离我。

20. And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them.
众人上去求巡抚，照常例给他们办。

21. Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
或是一个妇人，有十块钱，若失落一块，岂不点上灯，打扫屋子，细细的找，直到找着吗。

22. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
你们多结果子，我父就因此得荣耀，你们也就是我的门徒了。

23. And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
知道人心的神，也为他们作了见证。赐圣灵给他们，正如给我们一样。

24. Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
我说，基督是为神真理作了受割礼人的执事，要证实所应许列祖的话。

25. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
末了也显给我看。我如同未到产期而生的人一般。

26. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
因神的荣耀，和能力，殿中充满了烟。于是没有人能以进殿，直等到那七位天使所降的七灾完毕了。
