1. And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
耶和华说，我所要作的事，岂可瞒着亚伯拉罕呢。

2. But the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they are holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
只是头生的牛，或是头生的绵羊和山羊，必不可赎，都是圣的，要把它的血洒在坛上，把它的脂油焚烧，当作馨香的火祭献给耶和华。

3. He that is first in his own cause seemeth just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him.
先诉情由的，似乎有理。但邻舍来到，就察出实情。

4. And Moses' father in law said unto him, The thing that thou doest is not good.
摩西的岳父说，你这作的不好。

5. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.
不可露了妇人的下体，又露她女儿的下体，也不可娶她孙女或是外孙女，露她们的下体，她们是骨肉之亲，这本是大恶。

6. And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
耶和华就对我说，他们所说的是。

7. And was drawn from the north, and went forth to Enshemesh, and went forth toward Geliloth, which is over against the going up of Adummim, and descended to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben,
又往北通到隐示麦，达到亚都冥坡对面的基利绿。又下到流便之子波罕的磐石。

8. And the five men that went to spy out the land went up, and came in thither, and took the graven image, and the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image: and the priest stood in the entering of the gate with the six hundred men that were appointed with weapons of war.
窥探地的五个人走进去，将雕刻的像，以弗得，家中的神像，并铸成的像，都拿了去。祭司和带兵器的六百人，一同站在门口。

9. And Saul said to David, Behold my elder daughter Merab, her will I give thee to wife: only be thou valiant for me, and fight the LORD's battles. For Saul said, Let not mine hand be upon him, but let the hand of the Philistines be upon him.
扫罗对大卫说，我将大女儿米拉给你为妻，只要你为我奋勇，为耶和华争战。扫罗心里说，我不好亲手害他，要藉非利士人的手害他。

10. And they took Absalom, and cast him into a great pit in the wood, and laid a very great heap of stones upon him: and all Israel fled every one to his tent.
他们将押沙龙丢在林中一个大坑里，上头堆起一大堆石头。以色列众人都逃跑，各回各家去了。

11. And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?
亚哈见了以利亚，便说，使以色列遭灾的就是你吗。

12. And the king of Assyria sent Tartan and Rabsaris and Rabshakeh from Lachish to king Hezekiah with a great host against Jerusalem. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. And when they were come up, they came and stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which is in the highway of the fuller's field.
亚述王从拉吉差遣他珥探，拉伯撒利，和拉伯沙基率领大军往耶路撒冷，到希西家王那里去。他们上到耶路撒冷，就站在上池的水沟旁，在漂布地的大路上。

13. And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and the sons of David were chief about the king.
耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅统辖基利提人和比利提人。大卫的众子都在王的左右作领袖。

14. And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would not prophesy good unto me, but evil?
以色列王对约沙法说，我岂没有告诉你，这人指着我所说的预言，不说吉语，单说凶言吗。

15. His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
他的记念在地上必然灭亡。他的名字在街上也不存留。

16. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.
他救我脱离我的劲敌，和那些恨我的人。因为他们比我强盛。

17. That hath taken off his hand from the poor, that hath not received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.
缩手不害贫穷人，未曾向借钱的弟兄取利，也未曾向借粮的弟兄多要。他顺从我的典章，遵行我的律例，就不因父亲的罪孽死亡，定要存活。

18. I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will shew them the back, and not the face, in the day of their calamity.
我必在仇敌面前分散他们，好像用东风吹散一样。遭难的日子，我必以背向他们，不以面向他们。

19. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
若是不听他们，就告诉教会。若是不听教会，就看他像外邦人和税吏一样。

20. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
我实在告诉你们，凡要承受神国的，若不像小孩子，断不能进去。

21. Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not.
那看门的使女对彼得说，你不也是这人的门徒吗。他说，我不是。

22. Then all the Greeks took Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment seat. And Gallio cared for none of those things.
众人便揪住管会堂的所提尼，在堂前打他。这些事迦流都不管。

23. For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
一时之间，这吗大的富厚就归于无有了。凡船主，和坐船往各处去的，并众水手，连所有靠海为业的，都远远的站着，
