1. Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.
假若这五十个义人短了五个，你就因为短了五个毁灭全城吗。他说，我在那里若见有四十五个，也不毁灭那城。

2. That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
免得你们玷污那地的时候，地就把你们吐出，像吐出在你们以先的国民一样。

3. Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the LORD's heave offering to Aaron the priest.
这样，你们从以色列人中所得的十分之一也要作举祭献给耶和华，从这十分之一中，将所献给耶和华的举祭归给祭司亚伦。

4. And Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi, which is Jerusalem, Gibeath, and Kirjath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.
洗拉，以利弗，耶布斯（耶布斯就是耶路撒冷），基比亚，基列，共十四座城，还有属城的村庄。这是便雅悯人按着宗族所得的地业。

5. And there was no deliverer, because it was far from Zidon, and they had no business with any man; and it was in the valley that lieth by Bethrehob. And they built a city, and dwelt therein.
并无人搭救。因为离西顿远，他们又与别人没有来往。城在平原，那平原靠近伯利合。但人又在那里修城居住，

6. And Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David, and that Michal Saul's daughter loved him.
扫罗见耶和华与大卫同在，又知道女儿米甲爱大卫，

7. And Ahimaaz called, and said unto the king, All is well. And he fell down to the earth upon his face before the king, and said, Blessed be the LORD thy God, which hath delivered up the men that lifted up their hand against my lord the king.
亚希玛斯向王呼叫说，平安了。就在王面前脸伏于地叩拜，说，耶和华你的神是应当称颂的，因他已将那举手攻击我主我王的人交给王了。

8. And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.
他们大声求告，按着他们的规矩，用刀枪自割，自刺，直到身体流血。

9. Then Rabshakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and spake, saying, Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria:
于是拉伯沙基站着，用犹大言语大声喊着说，你们当听亚述大王的话。

10. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead.
以色列王和犹大王约沙法上基列的拉末去了。

11. For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
你必点着我的灯。耶和华我的神必照明我的黑暗。

12. Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
因为他思量，回头离开所犯的一切罪过，必定存活，不致死亡。

13. But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.
那仆人出来，遇见他的一个同伴，欠他十两银子，便揪着他，掐住他的喉咙，说，你把所欠的还我。

14. Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.
彼得说，看哪，我们已经撇下自己所有的跟从你了。

15. Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.
众人将耶稣从该亚法那里往衙门内解去。那时天还早。他们自己却不进衙门，恐怕染了污秽，不能吃逾越节的筵席

16. For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.
在众人面前极有能力，驳倒犹太人，引圣经证明耶稣是基督。
