1. And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
亚伯拉罕急忙进帐棚见撒拉,说,你速速拿三细亚细面调和作饼。

2. And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are given as a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
我已将你们的弟兄利未人从以色列人中拣选出来归耶和华,是给你们为赏赐的,为要办理会幕的事。

3. A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes.
愚昧人张嘴启争端,开口招鞭打。

4. And he said unto Moses, I thy father in law Jethro am come unto thee, and thy wife, and her two sons with her.
他对摩西说,我是你岳父叶忒罗,带着你的妻子和两个儿子来到你这里。

5. None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.
你们都不可露骨肉之亲的下体,亲近他们。我是耶和华。

6. And if a Levite come from any of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place which the LORD shall choose;
利未人无论寄居在以色列中的哪一座城,若从那里出来,一心愿意到耶和华所选择的地方,

7. Ye shall therefore describe the land into seven parts, and bring the description hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.
你们要将地分作七分,写明了拿到我这里来。我要在耶和华我们神面前,为你们拈阄。

8. And the priest said unto them, Go in peace: before the LORD is your way wherein ye go.
祭司对他们说,你们可以平平安安地去,你们所行的道路是在耶和华面前的。

9. And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick.
大卫打死了那非利士人,同众人回来的时候,妇女们从以色列各城里出来,欢欢喜喜,打鼓击磬,歌唱跳舞,迎接扫罗王。

10. So the people went out into the field against Israel: and the battle was in the wood of Ephraim;
兵就出到田野迎着以色列人,在以法莲树林里交战。

11. So they divided the land between them to pass throughout it: Ahab went one way by himself, and Obadiah went another way by himself.
于是二人分地游行,亚哈独走一路,俄巴底独走一路。

12. For he clave to the LORD, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses.
因为他专靠耶和华,总不离开,谨守耶和华所吩咐摩西的诫命。

13. Then David put garrisons in Syriadamascus; and the Syrians became David's servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
于是大卫在大马士革的亚兰地设立防营,亚兰人就归服他,给他进贡。大卫无论往哪里去,耶和华都使他得胜。

14. But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?
约沙法说,这里不是还有耶和华的先知,我们可以求问他吗。

15. The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
他帐棚中的亮光要变为黑暗。他以上的灯也必熄灭。

16. In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
我在急难中求告耶和华,向我的神呼求。他从殿中听了我的声音,我在他面前的呼求入了他的耳中。

17. They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.
都要撇给山间的鸷鸟,和地上的野兽。夏天鸷鸟要宿在其上,冬天野兽都卧在其中。

18. And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,
未曾在山上吃过祭偶像之物,未曾仰望以色列家的偶像,未曾玷污邻舍的妻,未曾在妇人的经期内亲近她,

19. O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
耶和华说,以色列家阿,我待你们,岂不能照这窑匠弄泥吗。以色列家阿,泥在窑匠的手中怎样,你们在我的手中也怎样。

20. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
凡使这信我的一个小子跌倒的,倒不如把大磨石拴在这人的颈项上,沉在深海里。

21. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
主说,你们听这不义之官所说的话。

22. As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.
耶稣一说我就是,他们就退后倒在地上。

23. And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.
他们既抗拒,毁谤,保罗就抖着衣裳说,你们的罪归到你们自己头上,(罪原文作血)与我无干,(原文作我却乾净)从今以后,我要往外邦人那里去,

24. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
他怎样待人,也要怎样待他,按他所行的加倍的报应他。用他调酒的杯,加倍的调给他喝。
